rotations including rotations in rural and underserved areas

National SOMA Fall Convention Service Project at the Senior Community Center in San Diego October 1, 2007
Community Center's mission is to provide quality and compassionate servicesfor the survival, health and independence of seniors living in poverty.
SOMA students gave a presentation on nutrition and physical fitness for the elderly. 50 Dyna-Bands and 6 sets of free weights were handed out during the presentation. A check for $940 that went
towards the Feed A Senior
program was presented.
SOMA Unity Project 2007
Homeless shelter outreach program in NYC Dec 26th-30th, 2007 Will be working with Help USA, which helps run many
of NYC's shelters. Tasks will include: asthma workshops for children,
computer skills workshops for women, maintenance work, etc.
