time zonal Level.

3) 2 students ,Mr. Rounak Dhole Patil (SE-Auto) and Mr. Satyam Bankar (BE-Auto) are

selected in Zonal Level Cricket and First stand by at zonal level.

4) Dhole Patil College of Engineering, Pune is now Officially MHRD's Approved Innovation cell

to promote students and faculties in Innovation era. MHRD IIC Institute code: IIC201912132.

Principal Dr.Nihar Walimbe is Institute Head and Prof.Vipinkumar Pawar is working as

President Innovation Cell.

5) Dhole Patil College of Engineering is awarded for giving their valuable contribution in Blood

Donation Movement and conducting blood donation camp in the various colleges of pune by

Sasoon Hospital, Government of Maharashtra and B. J. Medical college, Pune.

The students have received award from Dr.Ajay Chandanvale, Dean, Sasoon hospital and

Mrs.Rutu Chabria, Mukul Madhav Foundation on 8th November 2019 for their efforts.

Activities

First Year Parents Meet On 4th Nov, 2019 Department of First Year Engg. Organized a parents meet of First year

students. The agenda was to inform the Parents about the In-Sem exam result and have a proper

discussion to find out a proper way for students to progress in their academics. Approximately 150

parents from Pune and outside Places attended the meeting.

Under the guidance of Hon. Chairman Shri. Sagar Dhole Patil, Parents and teachers were

able to discuss about what are the todays students requirements and method of studies. Hon.

Chairman sir also guided all that along with the studies the environment in which students live i.e at

home parents and students should have a health communication everyday and the relation between

all family members should be friendly and trustful. The students should also be given some spiritual

values from parents, which would in all develop the student in all aspects.

Department of MBA – On 15th Nov, 2019 , the department of MBA arranged a competition for their students MAD AD.

The activity encouraged the students to think differently and also developed their presentation,

acting skills.

Celebration of Indian Constitution Day- Dhole Patil College of Engineering celebrated the 70th Indian constitutional Day on 26th Nov, 2019. It

was well organized by Prof. Sandip Kale, Student Development Officer, DPCOE. All the students and

teachers took a oath to respect and follow our Indian constitution.

Seminar on "Mental Health Awareness and Volunteer Orientation with

Connecting Trust"

On 23rd Nov, 2019 Department of First year Engineering organized one day seminar on

"Mental Health Awareness and Volunteer Orientation with Connecting Trust" under Dhole Patil

All Round Development Scheme (DPARDS).As we know, now a day’s everyone under stress &

tensions due to some reasons. Speakers first speaker was Mr. Digvijay Thakur , professional

experience 15yrs in cancer treatment field & second Mrs. Suhasini Ravindranath, senior social

activist, 30yrs exp. Suhasini is an active social worker, involved with NGOs like Connecting, Keep

Moving Movement and YWCA.

Celebration of Mahatma Phule “Punyatithi”

Mahatma Jyotirao Govindrao Phule was an Indian social activist, a thinker, anti-caste reformer and

writer from Maharashtra. Mahatma Phule “Punyatithi” is annually held on 28 November. Jyotirao at

the age of 22 first taught reading and writing to his wife, Savitribai, and then the couple started the first

indigenously run school for girls in Pune in 1848 & played an important role in women’s education in

Maharashtra. So, in the remembrance of Mahatma Phule, we celebrated his Punyatithi in Dhole Patil

College of Engineering, Pune. Program was witnessed by Principal Dr. Nihar Walimbe, HODs and

faculties of Dhole Patil College of Engineering, Pune and they praised his relentless work towards

social reform, especially among the women and the youth.

Celebration of Mahatma Phule “Punyatithi”

Inter-College Girls Basketball Competition In Dhole Patil Engineering College, under the Savitribai Phule University of Pune, an inter-college

girls basketball competition was organized under the auspices of Pune District Sports Department and

Dhole Patil Engineering College. A total of 3 teams participated in this. As the chief guest at the inauguration of the tournament, Pune

District Sports Department Secretary, Dr. Girish Dhamle, Dhole Patil Education Society Chairman Ma.

Sagar Dhole Patil, Secretary. All the students and professors were present including Uma Sagar Dhole

Patil, Principal Dr. Nihar Walimbe. The final match of the tournament will be played at Indira College.

C. Baramati rang in between. This is a colorful match. C. Baramati College won.
