The aim was to establish a framework for discussion on topics of great interest on Toxicology, such as Food Safety and Drugs of Abuse, among students of different subjects and degrees in which the Area of Toxicology from the University of Sevilla gives classes. The novelty of introducing the Toxicology Olympiad aroused great interest in the participants, and could be considered an original and dynamic tool that served as reinforcement and review of the subject. Success in attendance and participation (more than 170 people were enrolled), variety of topics addressed, and interaction among students allowed the enrichment of the assistants and organizers.
