Lublin in brief

Lublin is one of the cities you might have never heard of, according to The Telegraph. It is not a surprise, though that the same daily encourages tourists to pay a visit in this vibrant and multicultural city.

The city is located in the east of Poland, approximately 200 km from Warsaw and 300 km from Cracow. It is easily accessible from all directions thanks to the airport and a network of modern roads.

With its rich history and a dynamic academic community, Lublin hosts young and active people within its 70,000-strong student fraternity, including over 6,300 foreign students. The citizen-student ratio is 5/1 (20%) and in the scale of the whole Lublin region, 80% of all students, gain their knowledge and experience in the city of Lublin.

Among several reasons why students choose Lublin, as their academic centre, the comfort of life and high educational standards deem to be the most significant ones. Lublin’s universities are constantly updating their infrastructure, educational offer, research facilities and they strongly support students’ scientific and non-scientific activity.
