SUMMARY

Along with the advance of technology and sciene, Indonesia regulation of seismic study was change in several times. Since SNI 03-1726-2002 published. There have been several large earthquakes in Indonesia that its magnitude greater than previous estimates such as incident of earthquake damage in Aceh (2004) and earthquake damage in Nias (2005). It cause make a map of earthquake in 2002 is not considered relevant. Therefore, the further research is needed to analyze the high rise building that has been built by using SNI 03-1726-2002 and SNI 03-1726-2012 to determine whether the plan used seismic load is still quite relevant .The method of research was done by dynamic inelastic time history analysis of the building being simulated . The data model of the building using the as- built drawings , while the material data obtained from primary data by conducting surveys using Schmidt Hammer Test .The analysis showed that the performance level of the building encumbered with El Centro earthquake acceleration adjustment SNI 03-1726-2002 and 2012 according to FEMA 356 and ATC - 40 is the same , namely Life Safety .In accordance with the level of performance of the resulting , Civil Engineering Building UNJANI structure does not require retrofitting . The structure is still considered capable of withstanding earthquake loads . But in another case, suppose that the level of performance as a result of the earthquake ISO 2012 ISO exceeds the level of performance due to the earthquake of 2002, it should be made retrofitting the structure elements, especially the element bearers lateral force .
