Main trainers and accompany during study tour:

M.A. in Development Studies (MA Focus on economic and social development of local communities through
mobilisation of own resources and visioning). 10 years of work in international development assistance framework.
Knowledge of policy development, evaluation cycle and PCM. Long experience in local and rural development
programming. Extensive experience as a trainer.
Goran Zivkov / SEEDEV owner and employee
Graduated from the faculty of Agriculture (university of Belgrade). Assistant Minister and Minister of the Ministry of
Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management (2004-2006). Extensive experience in policy making and strategy
planning in the field of agriculture and rural development. Long experience in providing institutional TA in Serbia
and abroad. Extensive experience as a trainer.
Ivana Dulic Markovic / SEEDEV owner and employee
Serbian Minister of Agriculture, Forestry, and Water Management from 2004 to 2006. In 2006, became Deputy
Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia. Ph.D. from Belgrade University in biotechnology in 1999, and Professor at
the Agricultural Faculty at the University of Banja Luka. In 2008, Ivana was appointed Deputy Prime Minister of
Vojvodina Province. Since 2009, independent consultant for different UN and other international organizations.
Josip Jagust / SEEDEV owner and employee in Croatia
With a B. Eng from Imperial College London, Josip has worked in Norway on sustainability isssues; since 2002 has
been involved in the private agri-business sector in Croatia. Currently running SEEDEV Croatia and working on
number of rural and agribusiness sustainability projects and is structuring SEEDEV's IPA team. His experience and
expertise is in corporate sustainability management and rural and local institutional sustainable development
capacity-building.
Pascal Bernardoni / SEEDEV owner
M.A. in Agro-economics, worked in Western Africa and Latin America on institutional strengthening of large farmer
associations; has assisted development funds to define eligibility criteria for credits and grants. Since 1999, in the
Balkans and in the Caucasus with specific emphasis on agriculture and rural development. Experience in needs
assessment, project formulation and implementation and M&E.
Addition to the main trainers’ presentation will be provided by policy makers, cooperative and associations
directors, advisors…
