I think it’s because people are always looking for affordable ways to look different and fortunately, vintage clothing is not as expensive here as it is overseas.  I’d say 40% of my wardrobe is vintage.  I’ve had some of these pieces since the age of 15 and I'm still wearing them.

I’m a Jozi girl. Depending on what time of the day it is, you might spot me at Wolves in Illovo or Kitcheners Carvery Bar in Braamfontein.

So much has happened to force me to grow up a little faster. Every day, I learn something new about running a business, managing people and dealing with customers and designers.  It’s not easy, but it’s like my baby and luckily I share it with Doreen - it’s our labour of love.  This is just the beginning.

Mama K N O W S B E S T

She still dresses up as if it’s Photo Day.  I have a lot of dresses that used to belong to my mother and aunts.  I obviously get my flair from her although she didn’t always understand my style.
