SUBMIT FINAL TRANSCRIPTS

If you are currently completing your final year of high school, please submit your final official high school transcript(s) which indicate you have been awarded the high school diploma, and your final Transcripts of Grades (IB, CIE, AP, etc.) as soon as they become available, and no later than Thursday, August 1, 2019, to the Office of Admissions.

Should your IB, CIE, AP, etc. Transcripts of Grades not become available by August 1, please notify the Office of Admissions.

If you are talking IB or AP courses, please have the scores sent directly to Virginia Commonwealth University.

Only students who submit final transcripts showing evidence of meeting VCUarts Qatar’s stated admission requirements may register for courses at VCUarts Qatar, or must comply with one of the following options:

o Repeat the GSCE, CIE, IB, or AS / A-level exams during their first semester

at VCUarts Qatar, and submit official transcripts/transcript of grades which provide evidence of having earned a degree of secondary education prior to the start date of their second term of enrolment (Spring) at VCUarts Qatar. Students may register and continue at VCUarts Qatar for a second semester provided they have submitted the requisite academic documentation.

o Seek guidance from the Ministry of Education’s Attestation and Certi�cate

Equivalency Unit (Certificate Equivalency Section) during their first semester at VCUarts Qatar. Students may register and continue at VCUarts Qatar for a second semester provided they submit official documentation issued by the Certificate Equivalency Section indicating their academic credentials are equivalent to having earned a degree of secondary education.

o Apply for admission to the Academic Bridge Program (ABP) at Education

City for enrolment in the Spring term. This, provided they are in good academic and conduct standing at the end of their first semester at VCUarts Qatar, and meet ABP’s stated application and admission requirements. Upon successfully completing the one year program at ABP, students may be reinstated as a 2nd semester freshman student at VCUarts Qatar.
