Physics In Daily LifeSlide NO. 2
What is Physics?Physics expands our life , you can find it in the water in the sky or on the earth . it's much important as air and water. Without we can’t live or life was not possible. Any thing we do in that physics is involved, whether we eat or play. Physics plays an crucial or very important part in our life. It’s a subject which teach the principle behind what we do daily in our life.
So, how physics is related to our
daily life ?
Physics In Daily LifeSlide NO. 3
Physics is related to our life in many ways, Some of the common example are as follow:
When we walk or run, our motion is part of laws of mechanics
We eat food which undergoes chemical reactions producing heat energy which is converted into mechanical energy
Use of refrigerator, pressure cookers, washing machines, television, music system, computers, etc. are all designed on the principles of physics.
When we speak, we produce sound properties of which like pitch and intensity are studied in physics

Some more examples how physics is related to our life are as follow:Electricity that we use in household is a gift of physicsAutomobiles design is based on physics
The list is endlessBut there is one very good example of how physics is related to our daily life that is Cricket. Now while playing cricket, How is physics is related to our life?
Physics In Daily LifeSlide NO. 5
Almost Every one in India play cricket whether rich or poor, Children or an old person, girl or boy all play cricket.
Now, is cricket is related to physics ?
Yes, Cricket is related to physics because of following reason:
Force can change anything of a object like shape, direction, etc. but force can’t change mass of an object. In cricket bowler through the bowl and the batsman with the help of bat apply force on ball and change the direction.
When fielder through the bowl in air so the transfer of energy take place from kinetic to potential and to kinetic energy take place.
Physics In Daily LifeSlide NO. 6
A good cricketer always do “follows through” with the bat, so the force applied for longer time, the impulse is greater and so also is the gain of momentum (and Velocity) of the ball.
Batsman ‘following Through’ after hitting the ball
Physics In Daily LifeSlide NO. 7
Almost all cricketer draw back the ball while catching because to stop a moving ball, its momentum has to be reduced to zero. AN impulse is then required in form of an opposite force acting for a certain time. While any number of combination of force and time will give particular impulse, the ‘sting’ can be removed from catch by drawing back the hands as the ball is caught.
Drawing back of hand
There are many more points how cricket is related to physics.
