FINISHING
Weave in ends and soak shawl in lukewarm
water. Gently squeeze out the excess water
in a towel. Stretch to shape and size and
pin in place. Leave to dry thoroughly
before unpinning.
A BEAUTIFUL lace pattern resembling the
delicate shapes of jellyfish adorns the wide
border of this shawl. The crescent shape is
achieved by working a combination of
short rows and decreases. “For a deeper
shawl, work more repeats of the lace
pattern, bearing in mind that more yarn
will be needed,” says the shawl’s designer,
Anniken Allis.
Just one skein of laceweight
yarn is needed
