Substitute Teacher & Teacher Assistant

Certificate Procedures

In order to obtain an Articulation Agreement Form student must have completed the following:

Course EDUC 1301- Intro. To Teaching Professions. (for Substitute Certificate)

Course EDUC 2301- Intro. To Special Populations. (for Teacher Assistant)

Articulation Agreement Form (prepared by an EDUC Instructor or Faculty Secretary).

The following information is required in order to process the certificates:

Name of Student

A # (ID)

Semester/Year course was completed

Section Number

Name of Instructor

Final Grade needs to be posted (Pass with “C” or better)

Instructors Original Signature

Department Chair Signature

Continuing, Professional Workforce Education Director Signature

Student will then present the form to the Continuing, Professional & Workforce Education

Department (CPWE).

Pay a Fee of $2.00.

Student will receive their certificate by mail or pick up at the following locations.

The Articulation Agreement applies to students who have completed their EDUC 1301 Course on or

after Fall 2008 & EDUC 2301 on or after Spring 2014.
