Eliminating stress• Prepare ahead of time• Study before tests (when you learn it is happening)• Make sure you clearly understand the work; ask
questions after class if you are too shy during class (teachers like that)
Mind
Self-Esteem• Criticizing yourself too much• Letting others take advantage of you• Listening to negative and believing it• Thinking too high of yourself• Taking advantage of others• Selfish and self-centered
Habits• Developing a habit of using consistent routines• example: I brush my teeth in the shower to prevent forgetting• Self-awareness - Don’t measure yourself by others• Exercise at least 4 days a week for 1 hour• Eat healthy, unprocessed clean foods.Hygiene • Shower/bath/clean self-daily (clean test)• Deodorant test (natural ones are baking soda and body oils)• Oral hygiene/Breath test • Rinse mouth with water after eating• Keep breath mints or gum
Body
• Make sure clothes are clean and do not smell• Try not to get too stuck on fashion trends (they die
quickly)• Name brands don’t matter as long as they fit and
you look nice• Discount and Thrift stores have great clothes &
shoes• Dress based on how you want to be treated or
perceived• Perception dictates first impressions• Interview Outfit (one good suit or sports jacket and
one nice simple dress) Black or Navy Blue
Dress Code
• Keep a gratitude journal • Send out positive texts, email or phone calls• Encourage others• Meditate (or reflection) for 5 minutes daily• Be comfortable in your own skin• Pay it forward as much as you can • Be that person that makes a positive difference
