Procedure to Change Prefix for Huawei Node B @ RNC

1. First, select the RNC and list Node B to get the Node B ID. E.g.: ‘LST NODEB’ for site ASLIMU

2. Execute the command – F9 or click on the icon indicated

3. Node B ID for ASLIMU is 12.

4. Once we have the Node B ID, we can modify the Node B name attribute to place the suffix. E.g.: ‘_97’, as shown on the screen shot below – ‘MOD NODEBNAME’

5. Just key-in the ‘Node B ID’ and ‘Node B new name’ in the red fond attributes.

6. Finally, repeat step No: 1 to check if the naming convention with suffix have been changed.

Note: Pretty much that’s it and easy to execute. Changes are only done at the designated RNC
