Twitter users do not like Tweets that are directly linked from Facebook posts. They consider these type of tweets unauthentic . Twitter should be managed as a stand-alone medium. Besides, look how sloppy a tweet looks when it has been imported from Facebook, most of the post has been cut off!

Not only should we mirror our Facebook posts, but we should push out quirky and whimsical Ireland facts, ‘reistips’ (trip tips), and images. This tweet proved quite popular, with nine unique interactions, leading to three new followers.

SUGESSTIONS FOR IMPROVEMENT HASHTAGGING

I suggest we follow trending topics and hashtags relating to Ireland, and tweet our own text and content, but include the trending hashtag. This may be a good opportunity to create our own hashtag. Last week we created the hashtag, #HuwelijksreisIerland, to accompany our tweets surrounding Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s Honeymoon to Ireland. We had quite a bit of interaction around our tweets, and we gained five new followers in just under an hour.

SUGESSTIONS FOR IMPROVEMENT PLANNING &

SCHEDULING

As shown in above graphs, Twitter engagement for brands is 17% higher on the weekends, and Twitter users are 181% more likely to be on Twitter during their commute.

I suggest we begin scheduling tweets at the start

of each week. Preparing text, relevant imagery &

links. The text should then be sent to Concentrix

for translation. I suggest we tweet during peak

times at work, and tweet during peak times

outside work if there are messages we are eager

to push out at a certain time.

Since testing the waters with this new

strategy (exactly one week ago today),

we have gained 14 new followers. Let’s

hope that number keeps growing.
