Education and law was a very important part of people's lives especially when it was a long time

ago and when it was a trouble to survive with your group or tribe of people.

Roman Military

The Roman navy didn't start until 311 BC but it was scrapped a few years later.

A navy was formed with 330 ships but grew to 700 ships.

This number was once again dropped because of heavy losses in battle, no longer maintaining.

Roman Education

Rich kids were sent to school where they were taught basic reading, writing and arithmetic.

Turning 12, students would start learning Greek and Roman literature.

From the age of 16 they learnt legal careers, and memorised the laws of Rome.

Egyptian Military

Before the New Kingdom, the Egyptian army was mainly aquatic.

Mainly they used ships to attack their enemies.

Chariotry was introduced into ancient Egypt from Western Asia.

Not many girls and boys could go to school in ancient Egypt.

The kids who did go was usually rich or had a special reason to.

The children of farmers or fishermen had no proper education.

Today we use a lot of technologies and systems from the past.

In the future everything will look more like robots.We have modernised lots and will keep on

modernising.
