Originally, the word tradition didn’t only mean hand down : it also meant hand over, surrender, betray. After all, no tradition can continue unless each new generation encounters the work of its predecessors with irreverence, irony, and oedipal love. We don’t only progress; we devour as we create.

suisse bP int’l is our tradition. For us it’s not a quest, a holy grail, or an international style. To the contrary: it’s the train schedule, the sign to the toilet, and our primary school text books. It’s everything we defaced as teenagers. And now we’re carrying on. We’ve answered cold with marble, grid with skin, and engineer with fashion de-signer; we've met Swiss yesterday with Suisse today.
