AimsThe advertisement associates Liese with the concept of convenient dyeing process and a variety of color choices. The target audience of our advertisement is young ladies. They care about their appearance so as to increase their attractiveness. Also, they are willing to change their image. Thus, we aim at promoting a set of dyeing products to young ladies.

Design BriefOur designs express the key features visually. Each poster presents one style so that user can choose their favorite style. A

large bubble in the design presents the characteristic of Liese products. Dyeing chemicals become bubble when user squeezes the mixture bottle. A circle that locates at the bottom of the design shows audience the color result after using Liese. There are similar writing styles among four ads. The headlines of our ads are similar. Moreover, we mention the image that each color can bring to audience. Mocha Orange creates an energetic image. Cassis Berry brings a sweet image. Antique Rose makes a sexy image.

AimsThe aim of this design is a welcome board to popularize a district with a series of digital images. A simply layout with a short texts present the overall mood of a district.

AnalysisSham Shui Po is a perplexity district. There has old style housing estate but also has the Golden Shopping Centre selling the highest technology. In fact, Sham Shui Po is not a district that lifeless and waiting for reconstruction. Sham Shui Po is old but it still has vitality.

Design themeIn this design, I use low saturation colour to present an old district. In order to show the vitality of this district, I use variety colours and exaggerated curved lines to create a dynamic layout. The repeating outlines of buildings and fans display the potential of Sham Shui Po and its’ residents. I hope this welcome page of Sham Shui Po can gives every visitor a feeling that Sham Shui Po is old but not dull.

Futura PosterPoster on the left is a design about the font futura and its designer. Futura is a geometric sans-serif typeface based on geometric shapes that became representative visual elements of the Bauhaus design style. I design this poster based on the style of this font. Primary colour and simple visual elements are used which present the simple but variation of futura.

Word LabelsThe word labels set above are designed for people identity some words meaning and give out its basic feeling of those words. Simple colours are used to create a unified feeling.

Design BriefThe advertisement compares the famous movie plot “Titanic”, and service of Cathay Pacific. Titanic is a symbol of fail of love and non-safety traffic. Actor chooses Cathay Pacific implicit that Cathay Pacific provides safety trip to customers. His lover is satisfied with his answer so he attains his love. Also, Cathay Pacific lends customers fly on the sky but not jump into ocean. Actor answers the question with confidence and self-esteem. He seems as not willing to jump with his girlfriend; Cathay Pacific helps him solve the problem.

AimsIn the globalization era, cultural conflict is difficult to avoid. As a designer, it is our term to make adjustment in order to meet different audience’s requirements. Wedding ceremony is the best situation to exercise for the combine of two cultures.

Analysis and Design Switzerland and Japan are developed countries but their cultural features still exist. The two cultures features are reflected on the costume, venues setup, gifting and Activities on the wedding. In my opinion, Switzerland and Japan seems different but actually their cultures are similar. Red, white and black colors become the bridge that linked up the two cultures and make the unified design for the wedding ceremony.

BookDesignMultipurpose land use is a hot topic in Hong Kong even whole of the world. Everybody enjoy the multipurpose land but there is a gap between rich and poor. Between poor, it seemed as a problem because multipurpose land use cause living standard and living space is little. But the multipurpose land use is seemed as a high-quality and comfortable life style for rich such as housing estate. It is a bit tricky and it is an interesting topic for me.

I use an idea of building as issue theme, each page present a single topic.The building present the whole of a human and people finish their life after they finish the book.

Design BriefThe logo combines with my name “Suki Siu”. This business card is important for my application for the future school and job. I think my logo and business card need to have feature like professional and mature. I sketch several layouts and finally make a logo with swan-like shape implied the feature of beauty, mature and noble. Since the logo is complex and attractive enough so I use simply layout for the business card layout to avoid cover the feature of the logo. The colors of the stationery set are made reference from perfume package and lady magazine. And finally I use pink and black in my design.

Analysis of the ProjectHere is a set of corporate identity for a hypothetical company. Corporate identity is the “persona” of a corporation which is designed to accord with and facilitate the attainment of business objectives. In this project, the feature of the company is wholeheartedly pet care services just like family members at home.

Design BriefI use a dog and a cat to form the shape of house implicates the key service of this company. A heart below the house is formed by the company name. A heart symbolically presents the wholehearted services. The aim of the company is simply presented but clear.

Design BriefA logo design work before I study a regular design course. This is a logo present my Form 7 class. I simply use the texts "7A" to form different shapes. One is forming wings which represent improvement or fly on the sky. Another is forming a Chinese text “Ho“ since my Form 7 class teacher is Mr Ho. Our school name short-form “WTSMC“ is concealed on the logo. This is a meaningful work for me since it involves the memory of my secondary school life.

Analysis of TaomagI would like to redesign an article introduce hand-make material and the hand-make process step by step from Tao magazine. Tao is an online shopping guide; especially taobao. It is a helper/guide tells readers what special goods are introduced in taobao and how to use taobao effectively.

Design themeI use “find the treasure” as my theme of design. There is a map in index page; the treasure is shown on the map. Audiences are required to click the “treasures” and get it. After click the “treasures”, the compass appear and lead audience get the “treasures” step by step.

Design BriefClocks are important tools for humans, but it is always decorated with meaningless image.

In this project, I want to design a clock with strong message of machine. Clock is a meaningful machine for human. The original aspect of clock should be showed.

In the design, Wires express electric wire and fix the product. Gear replace the hour hand to expresses the running machine. The product seems like the helmet of an astronaut or machine.

I like reading comics and I always paint some fan works for

my favourite characters. Sometime I may paint for my friends or create some meaningless comics and stories.

Ukagaka is common and free software online. I found that it is useful and easy to compile, so I try to create an individual version during 2011.

Shel lIn the first time, I just create shell, which means the appearance of the software. After I create more and more clothes and remove most of bug of the shell. I tried to compile write my own script.

GhostThe main program is created by Japanese programmer, but Ukagaka is popular since script can compile by other users. Each ghost has their own script by changing the main script. I added some useful function and wrote more free talk dialogues. Then create a special clock and add more interesting dialogues.

Although this program is just for personal use, it is the first time I try to use words to compile a program. There is a special script called “Sakura Syntax”. It is meaningful to study a new thing independently.

About Me

PERSONAL INFORMATION SINCE 1991

I am interested in design because of my own interest and personality. I am punctual, creative and responsible. Creation is also my personal interest. When I read Japanese comics in the past I have always wanted to be able to create something similar. And now I always create some short comic stories and illustrations online with digital printing. My drawing skill is spontaneous learnt from book and comics. Outside of school, I have helped some strange online friends for painting illustrations. In the recent years, I tried to sell my fans work on the rainbow gala (a doujin fair). It was a good experience to enjoy the process from production to sale and I learnt about the unusual ideas from a different area.
