What is Sulfad
Sulfad is combination of four potent compounds acting in synergy and delivering rapid control for hepatitis and Fatty liver patients.

Studies have shown that Sulfad* has number of effects, including inhibition of neutrophil migration, marked inhibition of leukotriene synthesis and formation of prostaglandins
2- Anti-Inflammatory
and Anticarcinogenic
Properties
Oxidative stress is defined as structural and/or functional injury produced in tissues by the uncontrolled formation of pro-oxidant free radicals. Sulfad* preserves the functional and structural integrity of hepatocyte membranes by preventing alterations of their phospholipid structure and by restoring alkaline phosphatase and Gamma-glutamyl transpeptidase activities.Sulfad* play a major role in the prevention of oxidative damage to hepatocyte membranes

one of the AE in Sulfad, has been shown in different experiments to be capable of positively influencing the Kupffer cells even in the presence of the noxious factor, so that the cells are able to maintain their structure as well as their phagocytic activity. When under the effects of the Sulfad*, the Kupffer cells also display an increased mitotic activity.
4- Stimulation and Protection of Kupffer cells
Sulfad* produced a significant increase in the formation of ribosomes and in DNA synthesis, as well as an increase in protein synthesis.[43] Interestingly, the increase in protein synthesis was induced by Sulfad* only in injured livers, not in healthy controls. As could be shown with isolated hepatocytes, Sulfad* acts directly on the metabolism of the cell nucleus. Sulfad lead a normalization of the pathologically altered protein synthesis by increasing RNA synthesis. This improvement or normalization of the plasma protein picture, having been proven in several clinical studies.
3- Liver Regeneration
by Stimulation of Protein Synthesis

As the human body consumes toxins in many different forms through food, water, and the air we breathe, these toxins constantly bombard the liver. Bile serves as a carrier, moving these toxins from the liver on to the intestine for further elimination
5- Increasing bile flow

Indications of Sulfad
To support the liver during acute and chronic
hepatitis treatment
liver damage due to certain drugsCertain antiepileptic, sedatives, antidepressives, anesthetics, antidiabetics, antibiotics, tuberculostatics, antimetabolites and antimalarials are known to be capable of producing morphological changes in the liver: some liver function tests may then give abnormal results, and intrahepatic cholestasis may develop as a result of exposure to such drugs
Fatty degeneration(Fatty Liver and NASH )
