Oasy Hotel is a new reality in the world of tourism: accommodation facilities inside WWF Oasis,for journeys in total harmony with nature.Eco lodges and luxury tented camps with the highest standards of comfort, perfectly integrated into the environment, offering a wide choice of outdoor activities.

Based on the values of environmental and social sustainability, we are committed to the conservation of natural areas, supporting their protection and promoting its enhancement.Oasy Hotel is planning to open different structures in Italy, all inside of natural parks affiliated to WWF.

Places with exclusive atmospheres and authenticity, where guests can enjoy all the benefits of Nature. The first Nature Hotel is located in the heart of Tuscany, at the Dynamo Oasis. In an area of 1,000 hectares, Man and Nature coexist in total harmony, in a unique and regenerating experience.

HISTORY OF THE NATURAL RESERVEThe area of the Oasis has seen a succession of different private management methods, which led to today’s result: an area characterized by a landscape rich in biodiversity.

What we see today is strictly connected to the history of the territory and derives from a huge reclamation agrarian work, started in 1939 after the land had been purchased by SMI (Italian Metallurgical Society) which also brought the construction of roads, buildings and to the planting of woods in sight of the future farm which guaranteed a minimum of self-support to the families of the area.

This huge agrarian work, played a very important social function in a period of huge economic difficulties due to the Second World War. The factory outlets

and to the refectories of the S.M.I. supported thousands of families.

Located in the heart of Tuscany, in the Municipality of San Marcello Piteglio, Oasi Dynamo is a Nature Reserve at 1,100 meters high. In the past a game reserve, the area is today a model of environmental sustainability and social responsibility at a National level.

A predominantly wooded territory, which houses a pristine flora and fauna and protects species of rare plants and a great variety of animals including wolves and deer.

The Oasis is one of the few Apennine areas where traditional forms of agricultural management are still used.Agricultural activities - such as cultivation of cereals, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, potatoes and chestnuts - are carried out in full compliance with biological procedures.

WHERE

Oasy Hotel is located in the heart of Tuscany, in Limestre, province of Pistoia. The oasis is easily accessible from local train stations and airports in the region. By car it is about an hour from Florence and Pisa.

THE IMPACT OF OASI DYNAMOWWF and Oasi Dynamo are strategic partners of Oasy Hotel’s project. Both engaged in complementary areas in environmental and social responsibility, with specific objectives in common.

We believe that the conservation of our Oasis can be ensured by investing in education, in the restoration of natural habitat and wildlife, in visitor programs and initiatives for students and for future generations.

HOW DO WE DO IT?

Habitat & WildlifeConservation : consists in agricultural activities, livestock and forest conservation. Oasi Dynamo is recovering agricultural traditions, livestock and forestry typical of this area; the same which made SMI Factory an economic model in the last century, winning many national awards.

Advocacy & Education 1) Scientific research: thanks to a visitor center located at over 900 meters high, where students and researchers can experiment and deepen issues related to the flora and fauna of the Apennines.2) Conservation Act with the aim to increase private resources from devote to initiatives and projects of conservation such as the purchase of credits carbon (C02 compensation).

3) Initiatives for young and upcoming generations: educational programs of WWF for schools, face environmental issues through practical and laboratory activities.

WILDLIFE TOURS

BETWEEN FLORA & FAUNA, IN SEARCH OF WOLVES AND DEER

Over 1,000 hectares of land to explore together with our rangers, in search of rare plants, protected animals and secular trees. At 1,100 meters high, as the daylight changes and the eyes learn to recognize its nuances, the breath takes the rhythm of the forest and the intensity of the air.

Our tours are steps, silences, listening, contemplation in total respect of nature. And if you are lucky, you can meet deer and wolves. There are also many cultural tours outside the property, which we will be happy to offer you.

THE WOLF

The Oasis is now inhabited by one of the most fascinating elusive species: the wolf. But are we sure we know him enough? We will walk together some of the paths along which this predator usually goes in search of prey. We will look for the signs and traces of his presence and will deepen his extraordinary social life by walking along the paths and we will watch some videos taken by the camera traps placed in Oasi, to discover habits and behaviors.

LESSONS & TRIPS IN THE FOREST WITH PICNIC

The Oasis is made for horses and Oasy Hotel is for knights. Clear skies, fern hills, dense forests and endless expanses ... and horses galloping free into the wild. An opportunity for our guests to cross some of the most beautiful trails of Tuscany, hidden in the heart of the Oasis.

The bond that is created at every step with the animal, will give you a unique emotion by letting you know one of the most beautiful waysto discover a territory. Riding our horses, we will savor the beauty of moving slowly in the woods.The activity includes initial training to introduce our horses and explain some basic ruleshorse riding.

Then accompanied by our instructors, we will leave the riding school to venture along the paths of the Oasis. The duration and difficulty of the proposed itineraries will be defined according to the level of each individual knight.

Thanks to our e-bikes, you will be able to spend an incredible day of sport without worries, withfriends, family or other bikers. Our staff awaits you near the reception and then accompanies you in the adventure. The activity includes initial training to familiarize everyone with e-bikes and to explain gears and pedal assistance. Then, accompanied by our instructor, you will be able to cross the most hidden paths of the Oasis. Among the dense beech woods you will reach some of the most beautiful viewpoints of the territory, with wide views of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines and the limestone peaks of the Apuan Alps, until you see, on clear days, the Tyrrhenian coast with the island of Gorgona.

READY TO EXPERIENCE THE MOUNTAINS IN A DIFFERENT WAY, ALONG YOUR PRIVATE LAKE?

In the heart of the Oasis there is Lake San Vito, an artificial basin with clear waters. What better opportunity to indulge in a few hours of sport in the midst of the silence of nature, experiencing the thrill of sliding on the water aboard a kayak or a paddle board? A healthy and relaxing experience for everyone.

Thanks to its calm waters, Lake San Vito is perfect for approaching these sports and testing balance and resistance. Our staff will accompany you in this green and blue adventure. After a short walk we will reach the Lake of San Vito. The adventure begins with a briefing of about 10 minutes held by one of our rescue instructors which will explain the rules of the activities, how to use the equipment and prepare yourself. We’ll then proceed with the set-up. A little warming upto loosen your arm muscles and you will be ready to go.

KAYAK If you’ve never tried kayaking, this is the right place. A sport suitable to everyone, which will allow you to explore every corner of the lake and follow inlets until you reach the deepest point of the lake.

Immersed in the silence of nature, interrupted only by the scroll of the canoe on the water. You will learn to row and move with ease and then relax by lying down in the middle of the lake.

SUP - STAND UP PADDLE A new sport that will allow you to test your balance and explore the lake by standing on the table and paddling on flat waters. If the board will allow you to slide on the water, the paddle is the true protagonist of this discipline and will give you the opportunity to move in any direction, helping you to maintain balance. Ready to use every muscle in your body and adjust breathing to avoid falling into the water? After a short shore explanation on how to use the paddle, we will do some balance exercises directly on the board to gain more confidence before leaving for the deeper waters.

ORIENTEERING

THE LUXURY OF GETTING LOST

Get away from your own certainties, with trust and listening, to understand which direction to take. This is what you learn in orienteering lessons. And you do it by going into nature, moving off road and away from everything you already know.After an initial part in which one of our geo coaches will explain how to use the compass, how to read a map and how to orient yourself in an open area, you will be given a map indicating some points to reach inside the 1,000 hectares of Oasi Dynamo. You will leave the main paths to enter the woods and learn to move using only a compass, or looking at the sky in search of the sun or of the stars.

If as a child the imagination was unleashed every time you came across stories of reckless treasure seekers or daring adventurers exploring the most remote places on earth, the time has come for action. Live a day of Orienteering, a stimulating experience that encourages exploration, instinct and listening to nature.

Breathing becomes deep, slow and controlled. Movements regain balance and precision, allowing you to focus on yourself, in a mindful way. Practicing outdoor yoga and meditation, where the air is thin, invites the mind and the body to follow the rhythms of nature. It means becoming part of it, enjoying the here and now.

After reaching one of the most panoramic points of the Oasis, together with our yogi instructor, we will spend the sunrise or sunset outdoors to enjoy the benefits of meditation while the sun rises or sets.

A natural environment has the advantage of giving us tranquility, beauty and silence. Contact with nature can help us awaken our human and spiritual potential. Oasy Hotel has two restaurants. The first, more sophisticated, Le Felci, is situated near to the Lodges, with 60 seats inside a charming stone farmhouse. The other, more casual, Casa Luigi, is located in the agricultural area. It lends itself to genuine lunches in the open

air and memorable barbecues, accommodating up to 100 guests. In both restaurants, most of the ingredients used come from our own cultivations and breeding area of the Oasi Dynamo farm. It is the freshest, healthiest and tastiest food that can be offered to our guests.

Elegant and relaxing, restaurant Le Felci is located near the eco-lodges. Every morning guests are welcomed here for a rich, healthy and energetic breakfast. Lunch is light and bio, while dinners are elegant and chef’s dishes are refined. Menus are à la carte, with a rich choice of wines from our cellars.On the first evening the chef will introduce himself to the guests in order to listen to any needs and preferences (even for vegan dishes, vegetarians, celiacs and gluten free).The aperitif generally takes place outdoors, with wines, cocktails and convivial chat.

FARMING BREEDING The farm raises Limousine cattle. In addition to meat, there is the production of milk and dairy products, with a wide variety of cheeses, ricotta and yogurt. Pigs are also bred in the wild (Cinta Senese and mestizos), whose meats are processed and marketed.

CULTIVATIONS

The agricultural activities of the Oasis focus on the cultivation of raspberries, strawberries and wild strawberries, giant blueberries, currants and gooseberries; intended for fresh consumption and for processing into jams. Then fruit plants and cultivation of varieties of ancient grains low in gluten, spelled and potatoes; as well as chestnut trees from fruit for the production of chestnut flour.

Autumn is the season favorite of the inhabitants of the area, especially for wildlife enthusiasts wild. The bellowing of the deer in the mating period, the walks in search of the most beautiful foliage, this is of certainly the season it gives the most intense colors. HOW LONG TO STAYWe encourage guests to stay at least 4 nights, in order to live an holistic detox & regenerating experience, both

physical and mental.When booking, we recommend to already indicate the experiences you want to live in the Oasis. Then upon arrival, with our concierge we will define your perfect stay.By remaining a whole week, you have the opportunity to experience all the activities offered at the Oasis.

SAFETYAll the activities offered in Oasy Hotel meet safety standards. The technical staff is qualified and trained for all activities

and are in possession of licenses. During the activities participants will always be accompanied and supported by a member of the staff. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. In case of emergencies, we have a helicopter landing pad.

DIGITAL DETOXAt Oasy Hotel, wifi is available and all lodges have connections. No TV in the

DYNAMO ACADEMY Social enterprise, since 2010 offers to companies a personalized approach to corporate philanthropy, through programs

experiential, consultancy and training, aimed at promoting the spread of the contribution of the corporate world to the Common Good (Business for the Common Good), in the special context of the Limestre Campus and off-screen.

DYNAMO THE GOOD COMPANYBorn to create the Camp’s uniforms, Dynamo TGC produces and markets clothing with the goal of donating 100% of profits to projects of the Dynamo Foundation. Dynamo TGC promotes a

business model committed to the common good, because changing the future for the better is everyone’s responsibility.

DYNAMO WATERAcqua Dynamo was born in 2018, creating the Benefit Company, with the aim of building a Business for Good model to generate profit to be allocated entirely to the Dynamo Foundation and at the same

time create a positive impact on the social, civic and environmental level. The quality of the water, the choice of packaging, attention to the environmental impact and social responsibility, are part of an organic project oriented towards the common good.

OASI DYNAMO FOOD&CO It is a company with social purposes which, through the marketing of agri-food products of quality from the areas surrounding Oasi Dynamo, has conservation as its objectives the biodiversity of the

territory and its protection.

DYNAMO CAMPKnowing Oasi Dynamo means being bearers of the history of Dynamo and of the realities that are part of Dynamo Foundation. The mission of the Foundation, in fact, is to support the design and development of business organizations addressing social issues such as education, health, social and environment services, also promoting new employment. Among the main projects, in addition to Oasi Dynamo, there is Dynamo Camp, the first Recreational Therapy camp in Italy, which hosts children with free serious or chronic illnesses and their families, for holidays and entertainment with qualified assistance.
