SUMMARY OF THE PROJECT
Name of the Business: “NUTRI-BITES”
The name “Nutri-Bites” was derived from the words, ‘nutritious’
because it is made of vegetables, and ‘bites’ because it is a synonym
of nuggets. The business partners came up with this name of
business to be easily remembered by the customers that the
product offered is nuggets and vegetable. The name could also
caught customers’ attention in spite of the presence of different
competitors in the area.
Title of the Study: A Feasibility Study on Vegetable Nuggets
Location and Nature of the Business
Successful business comes with a good location. Nutri-Bites will be located at
Stall no. 5, North Wing of Polytechnic University of the
Philippines, Sta. Mesa Manila. The area is visible to the
customers since it is on the North Wing, Ground Floor
area where we could find large numbers of customers. The
proponents believe that they could easily attract the
attention of the customers in spite of the presence of
different competitors in the area.
Nutri-Bites will function as a partnership wherein two or more
people agree to share in the profits and losses of the
business venture.

Statement: Vision
Nutri-Bites is aiming to establish a function in an innovative
food making industry. It seeks to attain maximum shares of the
business and able to expand more branches nationwide and outside
the country.
Mission
Nutri-Bites is established with the idea to promote healthy
eating and convenient access to nutritious and delicious vegetable-
based product, with top quality food and staff to exceed the
customer’s satisfaction. It is committed to serve superior quality food
to complement healthy lifestyles.

To anticipate the changing needs of our customers
and provide them with excellent and better service
that would satisfy them.
To establish a name after five years specializing on
foods such as nuggets.
Feasibility Criteria:
Management Aspect
The propounded business will use partnership as its form of
business ownership. Each partner will have a capital contribution of
Php 37,500. Considering that there are eight partners, the totality of
initial investment of the partnership aggregates to Php 300, 000.
The partners have decided to put up this type of business
because it would be an adequate idea to produce vegetable
nuggets that vary from any other nuggets that are only rich in
preservatives.
Marketing Aspect
The business is located at Stall no. 5,
North Wing of Polytechnic University of the Philippines, Sta. Mesa
Manila. Our target market would compose of students, by passers
and employees around the university. The proponents also
determine the population of the university. From the information given
by the administration, the university has a total population of
38,215 students, year 2015.
There are three indirect competitors in the north wing
namely: Red Panda, Frabelle and Mixed Fillet; and the direct
competitor is the Gianrose Merchandising.
On the first year of the business operation, our projected
sales would be P2, 520,000 with an increase of 5% every year
as the demand for the nuggets products expands and as the target
market increases. It would grow up to P3, 063,095 on our fifth year.
Technical Aspect
Nutri-Bites will be offering foods, particularly nuggets
using vegetables such as carrots, potatoes and squash that are
nutritious and delicious to eat. We offer rice meals that include any
choices of vegetable nuggets and drinks.

We offer a variety of vegetables nuggets that will undergo a
process to produce, in which there certain steps that must followed
in order to create the product. We will spend annually a total of
P5, 166.00 for office supplies, P6,
720.00 for the cleaning supplies, P68,370.00 for the machineries and
equipment, P49,220.00 for the furniture and fixtures, P1,901.00.00 for
the utensils and P1, 629,360.00 for the raw materials needed for the
business.
Utilities include the annual consumption of about P90,
000.00 for the electricity, P10, 200.00 for the water and P11, 988.00
for the telecommunication sources needed in the operation of the
business.
Financial Aspect
The initial investment of Nutri-Bites is P3, 000,000.00 which
came from the partners' contribution to establish and start the
business. There are no other sources of capital aside from
partner’s contribution. A projected sale of P2, 520,000 will be
realized on its first year of operation with an assumption of 5%
increase per annum.
Socio-Economic Aspect
Nutri-Bites, as a way of giving service to the community,
prioritizes to give its customers the best of its abilities. The income to
be gathered form the business would benefit the business itself. In
order to provide all the needs of its customers, the business must
use its ability to adapt to the changing environment of the
community. With all the acceptance its customers need, the business
shall give back to the community through the efforts of strategic
programs.
Limitations of the Study
This study includes only of putting up a business at Stall no. 5,
North Wing of Polytechnic University of the Philippines, Sta. Mesa
Manila that only offers vegetable nuggets. Surveys were
conducted on the in several students assumed to be the target
market of the business as well as interviews conducted with the
existing stores, particularly competitors within the vicinity of the area.
