INTRODUCTION

An exploration drill hole was proposed on the four mining

claims in McGarry Twp. known as the Spadetto Option as a result of

prior geophysical surveys. An Excalibur report covering this work

(Geophysics on the Spadetto Option, McGarry Twp., District of

Timiskaming, Ontario, by J. B. Boniwell, dated February 14, 1996)

provides the rationale for the recommendation, and a map (Dwg. No.

EIC-2577) showing the drill location. This information should be

viewed as an adjunct to the present reporting and referred to as

needed.

DETAILS OF DRILLING

The drilling of the recommended hole was carried out by

Rick Yost Drilling of Kirkland Lake. The terms of the contract

called for wire line BQ core. The hole itself was completed in the

period 15-18th February, 1996, total length 135.6 m (445 1 ). Bruce

Durham's geological consulting services of Timmins, provided, in

the person of Mike Rosatelli, on site geologic supervision. Core

samples split for assay were sent to Swastika Laboratories for

their gold analysis. All remaining core is presently stored at

Sesekinika in facilities owned by Tom O'Bradovich of Kirkland Lake.

ASSAY RESULTS

The 33 core samples submitted for assay all turned out

virtually barren of gold. Trace amounts, albeit reaching in one

instance to 0.05 gm/tonne (or 50 ppb) represented the best of the

outcome.

DISCUSSION

The hole remained entirely within Timiskaming sediments.

This was hardly a surprise, but the hoped-for volcanics did not

appear or make their near-presence evident in the core. The

polarization anomaly was readily explained by the diffusion of

pyrite (up to 3%) in several places. Zones of alteration were

intermittently encountered down the hole and there was enough

fracturing and veining present to satisfy the structural overtones

of the targeted setting. A unit of chlorite schist was intersected

towards the bottom of the hole, and it too fortified the structural

notions postulated. However in all this environment of local

change no major focus could be implied, that is to say there was

no hint of any significant gold mineralizing event occurring in or

in the vicinity of the hole. Given that this easily was the best

locality in the claims area, really the only one, which on the

BXGAblBUR INTERNATIONAL CONSULTANTS bTD.

Page 6: SUMMARY REPORT OF DRILLING

geophysical evidence offered prospects for gold, the unencouraging

assay returns leave little scope for mineral potential and future

exploration success here.

RECOMMENDATION

The exploration odds are deemed so diminished by the

drill hole just completed, it is recommended that the option on

this ground be dropped, and the property (4 claims) returned to the

vendor (Gabrielle Spadetto).
