Family Life Ministry presents Parenting by the BookAmerica has tried parenting according to psychology and new “theories” for nearly forty years now, and it hasn’t worked. It’s time parents got back to Parenting by the Book - God’s Word. Join Merrill and Linda Hutchinson as they unpack biblical ways to raise your family. Whether you are dealing with a difficult toddler, an out of control teenager or just want some new tools in your toolbox, there is something for you in this 4-week series beginning Wednesday, April 3 from 7-8pm. Women’s Bible Study—He Speaks to Me by Priscilla ShirerThe Lord desires to speak to us personally. So many women settle for less than the intimate relationship God desires with us. Join us beginning April 3 for this seven-week series by Priscilla Shirer called He Speaks to Me. This study will be offered Wednesday mornings from 9:30-11:00am or Wednesday evenings from 7-8:00pm. SUMMER 2013 MISSION TRIPS Can You Help? Do You Feel Led To Serve on a Trip?

This summer Bright Christian Church is sending four mission groups to the countries of Haiti, Ecuador, and Barbados, as well as to New York, to make an impact in the world. Those serving need your prayer and financial support. If you feel led to serve on a trip, there are a few spaces still available for the Barbados and New York trips. Please take time to check out the mission display in the foyer highlighting each trip and then pray about how you can personally make an impact.

Protect Your FamilyJoin us on Wednesday, May 1 from 7-8:00pm for a special presentation by Dearborn County’s Prosecutor, Aaron Negangard, called Protect Your Family. This event will be focusing on a very silent but deadly killer invading our homes and destroying our families, and what the faith community can do right now to raise awareness and fight the war on drugs. Childcare and children’s programming will be available for ages 0-3rd Grade, but parents are encouraged to attend with any child over the age of 10 years old. So gather your family, invite your friends and neighbors, and join us for this special event on May 1 that we pray will positively impact our community for the Kingdom of God.
