MTB and road cycling As an outdoor destination, mountainbiking is the

perfect summer activity for us. When our snow has

melted this is perhaps the best summer equivalent

of alpine skiing: fast, physically demanding and at

the same time a wonderful outdoor experience.

Mountain bikes are available for rental and our bike

trails of varying length and difficulty offer something

for everyone with a need for speed. And if you

prefer a more relaxing biking experience the many

quiet and beautiful roads around our facility will

surely satisfy you.

White 2.4 km/21 altitude meters/Easy Our easiest trail, but perhaps the most beautiful. Forest trails that meanders along the lake. Suitable for children and beginners.

Pink 3.8 km/21 altitude meters/Easy Forest trail with easy rolling terrain that meanders along the shoreline. Hiking and biking in both directions. At Hestraviken you decide if you want to turn around or continue all the way around the lake.

8.8 km/30 altitude meters/Easy First part as above, then around the lake. The ground varies between forest trail, asphalt and dirt road. You will pass the golf course, a beautiful suspension bridge over the river and then through the nature reserve Ettö.

Green 1.5 km/22 altitude meters/Intermediate. Forest trails that goes around the holiday village with elements of all difficulties on Isaberg; pitch, roots, rock, footbridges, graduated turns, pump track and jump. Ends in the XC trail.

Red 7.8 km/171 altitude meters/Intermediate. The trail begins with a 1.5 km long uphill on dirt road. After that wide forest trails in hilly terrain. Note that last hill down is steep, technical and only for experienced.

Orange3.7 km/113 altitude meters/Intermediate. Our hill interval trail begin by 2.8 km of dirt road and wide tractor roads uphill. A shorter distance will be more flat before the difficult and technical hill back to the starting point.

Blue 13.8 km/279 altitude meters/Intermediate. Our most popular trail begins with a dirt road hill at about 1.5 km uphill. Thereafter forest trails and three additional pitches – you should up the 275 m twice in the track. The last hill down is moderately difficult with roots and rocks. The trail ends in our XC trail.

Blue/Black 5.9 km/149 altitude meters/Advanced. Paths with small steep hills along the southern and western side of Isaberg. After 3 km you begin the long climb to the trail’s highest point. The climb begins with asphalt road, then a short trail and continue up “Lillbacken” hill. The run down includes three pieces, specific downhill passages; the first is rocky, the second is loose gravel into a ravine, and the third is a path with oblique roots.

Yellow 3.9 km/45 altitude meters/Advanced. A meandering forest trail where the difficulty lies in a number of short climbs, tight corners, narrow passages, roots and rocks. The goal of this trail is to not to put your feet down.

Blue/Yellow NEWS! XC trail/ SM trial (finished spring 2015) 4,0 km/200 altitude meters/Easy-Intermediate-AdvancedThe XC trail with various obstacles such as jumps, drop, logs, stone coffins, streams and dosages. Each obstacle has 2-3 levels of difficulty.

Red/White 2.4 km/10 altitude meters/Advanced. On this particular trail you train on riding on roots. Keep in mind that this is also one of our hiking trails.

At Isaberg there are MTB-trails at all levels

the animals. Our moose enclosure comprises a whole 6 hectares,

There’s fresh water in the spring and the moose can take a dip in

the pond. Our guide provides you with facts and tales about the

moose. Isaberg Moose Park is also educational – along the path

at the enclosure, there are information boards about the wild

animals that live in the forests.
