MEMBERSHIP TYPES Membership Type

Household*Family

Adult (26+)Young Adult (19-26)

Youth (0-18)

We allow families to define themselves. The YMCA recognizes domestic partnerships.

*Two adults in a committed relationship with dependent children less than age 19, unless child is less than age 23 and enrolled as a full-time student, and/or dependent adults all residing in the same household. This is to include elderly parents living with their children, live-in nannies or au pairs and adults with disabilities living with their parents.

SCHOLARSHIP/FEE WAIVER At the Greater La Grange YMCA, we give children a safe place to play and learn. We give teens positive role models and constructive activities. We give families opportunities to spend quality time together and build strong relationships. We give our seniors a reason to get out and enjoy life and to share their vast experience with others.

It is the goal of the YMCA to provide educational, social and physical development services in our community, regardless of a person's ability to pay.

A waiver or reduction of fees is available subject to facility and program capacity, and demonstrated need, without regard to race, color, nationality, religion, gender, age or disability.

Child Care Assistance (CCAP) and YMCA Financial Assistance

The YMCA accepts Child Care Assistance (CCAP) funds. Child Care Assistance (CCAP) is a child care financial assistance program provided by the Illinois Department of Human Service for working families.• Don't Wait! The process for applying can take up

to 45 days for new applicants to receive approval. Families will need to provide household income to qualify. We will need to have an approval letter before the first week of camp. After you are accepted in the program you are responsible for paying the parent assigned monthly co-pay each month IN ADDITION to the differential. The differential is the daily cost of our program less the daily rate paid by (CCAP). If you qualify, your assistance can be applied for all of your weeks of camp.

• If you do not qualify you will receive a denial letter. Submit the denial letter to us and then you can apply for Financial Assistance through the YMCA. YMCA assistance is available for those needing help to pay for camp. Assistance is based on annual income and family size. Funds are limited and are available on a first come first serve timeline.

• To apply for Financial Assistance, complete a Financial Assistance Application, provide a copy of your Federal 1040 and a letter explaining your financial situation and return to the YMCA.

YMCA Camp DuncanSince 1921, Camp Duncan has provided safe, quality camping programs for boys and girls ages 7 to 15 and Teen Adventure Camps for 15 to 17 year olds. All activities are geared to the developmental level of the campers. Camp Duncan is a co-ed, summer resident camp located near Fox Lake, Illinois, on 300 acres.

YMCA Camp MacLeanCamp MacLean is located just two miles east of Burlington, Wisconsin, just 20 minutes from Lake Geneva, on 247 acres of woods and grassland property. The camp offers fun and challenging activities such as swimming, climbing, boating, kayaking, archery, hiking, and much more. We also leave room for plenty of traditional programs, including sing-alongs, campfires and campouts.

YMCA Camp PinewoodTraditional but up-to-date, Camp Pinewood features 16 cabins on a private, spring-fed lake, with every activity from sailing to horseback riding. The camp is nestled in the heart of the Manistee National Forest near Muskegon, Michigan. It’s convenient but remote enough to ensure that everyone enjoys the natural beauty of the camp’s 200-acre facility.

YMCA Family Camp NawakwaFamily Camp Nawakwa offers a unique experience- an opportunity to bring together whole families, not just children, through camping. The camp sits on 180 acres of pristine forest lands, and includes wetlands and lakes with abundant wildlife. The camp is nestled in Lac du Flambeau, Wisconsin, which is home to the Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians.

YMCA Camp IndependenceCamp Independence is a special place for campers age seven and up with spina bifida. At camp, kids become a community as they learn both how to be more independent and how to contribute to a group. We teach self-reliance, a love for nature, and the development of attitudes and practices that build character. Our counselors are dedicated to making sure camp is an amazing experience for every camper.
