Work Interfering with taking classes? The flex schedule offers a chance for those working the 4 on 4 off work schedule

to be able to attend classes on their days off! If that still does not work with your

schedule we have increased the number of internet classes available. Reminder:

It takes a minimum of 8 students for a class to make, refer a friend!

Frequently asked questions! It all starts with a phone call or an email to The Solutions Group!

Q: I am a new student but I want to sign up to take classes. What do I do?

A: First start is to contact ANC Solutions Group if you are interested in one of the

degrees to the right. If you work at a company please let TSG know upfront. Sec-

ondly before registering we ask you to supply: Your High school transcript or

GED, Immunization Records, and Compass/ACT Test scores.

Q: What if I don’t have Compass/ACT Test Scores?

A: Not a problem! Call TSG to schedule to take a compass test. Call at least two

days in advance and allow yourself at least 1-4 hours of time to take the test.

Q: I don’t want to enroll in a degree but I want to take classes to enhance

my skills and receive college credit. What do I do?

A: Contact The Solutions Group. We will get you registered for the course you

would like to take! Visit www.anc.edu to fill out an application.

TSG Begins to offer more computerized training!

43 Supply Chain employees of

Tenaris Hickman completed Heavy

Lift Training certification. The

course consisted of 4 hours of in-

class training such as front end

loader basics, rules and

regulations, and safe operating

procedures. An additional 4 hours

were hands-on training with an

obstacle course for the employees

to practice. This certification is

recognized in all 50 states and is

valid for three years. Training was

provided by The Solutions Group!

Omnium Utilizes grant money to take an online Internal Quality Auditing class. Employees live in Arkansas, Missouri,

Kansas and even Washington!

D&L employees take 15 NATE exams

Dawson Welding sends employees to certify welders

Viskase continues their 2 year plan in Advanced Manufacturing. 3 People will graduate with the AAS Advanced

Manufacturing degree in May 2015!

Technology Program recently had

construction equipment courtesy of

United Rentals. Marty Crawford is the

instructor of the free course offered

at ANC.

Approximately 50 Tenaris

dislocated workers attended

the ANC Education Fair in

March of 2015 on the ANC

Blytheville Main Campus.

The Governor's Dislocated

Worker Task Force hosted

an information session for

the Tenaris Workers on April

1 and April 2 at 9:00 am in

the Governor's Ballroom.

sions is to assist these and

other dislocated workers

and to offer guidance in
