Blue Pincushion Brunonia australis

Perennial herb to 20cm with basal rosettes of long, narrow, hairy spoon-shaped leaves. Several flower bearing stems, each with one intensely blue dome-shaped flower-head,

with numerous yellow styles forming the pins in the ‘pincushions’.
