LEARNING EXPERIENCE

• It improved my skills and knowledge and I learnt about work ethics

required to work in a company.

• It added enthusiasm and commitment and provided a lifelong

learning experience.

• It helped in converting my theoretical knowledge into practical

AN EVENT TOOK PLACE ON BIG DATA:

• There were three teams which were competing amongst

themselves in the training centre in this event.

• In this particular event we had to make working models

depicting any concept related to the given topic i.e. Big Data.

• Judges came from other universities of Lucknow.

WHAT IS BIG DATA?

• The collection of a large amount of data is known as Big Data.

• eBay.com uses two data warehouses at 7.5 petabytes and 40PB as well

as a 40PB Hadoop cluster for search, consumer recommendations, and

merchandising. Inside eBay’s 90PB data warehouse.

• Facebook handles 50 billion photos from its user base.

• The data kept online is increasing day by day and there was no use of

keeping it.

• The big data concept found various applications of keeping the data

but with use.

DURING THE TRAINING, WE HAD TO EXPLAIN CONCEPTS AND APPLICATIONS RELATED TO IT:

• The applications of Big Data can be understood by the uses of Big Data.

• There is a software named HADOOP which analyses and filters the vast

amount of data and gives the useful information accordingly.

• For example:

• Google has vast amount of customer data, so various trading companies

will buy that data and analyse it; find out that which customer wants

what type of products and accordingly that trading company will provide

specific product offers to the customer.

ASP.NET USING C#

WHAT IS THE PROJECT ALL ABOUT?

• The project basically represents a fast food organisation which delivers its

foods through web portal.

• Users can select the products of their choice and can directly order it

online.

• The language used is C# for coding and the framework used is ASP.NET

• C# & ASP.NET are the products of Microsoft.

• Now we’ll learn a bit about C#.

• Unified technology for development of almost any kind of

applications

• GUI / Web / RIA / mobile / server / cloud / etc.

ABOUT C#:

• C# is a simple, modern, general-purpose, object-oriented programming language

developed by Microsoft within its .NET initiative led by Anders Hejlsberg.

• This language can be assumed as a mixture of c language and java language.

• The compiler for c# is known as CSC.

• Microsoft provides the following development tools for C# programming:

• Visual Studio 2010 (VS)

• Visual C# 2010 Express (VCE)

• Visual Web Developer

• C# is designed for Common Language Infrastructure (CLI), which consists of the executable

code and runtime environment that allows use of various high-level languages to be used on

different computer platforms and architectures.

• The following reasons make C# a widely used professional language:

• Modern, general-purpose programming language

• Object oriented.

• Component oriented.

• Easy to learn.

• Structured language.

• It produces efficient programs.

• It can be compiled on a variety of computer platforms.

CONCLUSION

• The whole training experience from Train Edge was a wonderful as

well as quite knowledgeable.

• Teachers told us about various certifications and motivated to
