SUMMERTIME KIDS GRANT GUIDELINES What is Summertime Kids? The Summertime Kids Program grants are for nonprofit agencies to provide safe, fun-filled activities for Richland County children during the summer months. Grant amounts range up to $2,500. Grant dollars are used for direct programming. Regular staffing, operational costs or occupancy costs are not covered by this grant. Who is Eligible? Any 501c3 public charity or government entity and some churches offering programming to youth during the summer months are eligible to apply. If you are unsure of your status, contact the Foundation to inquire. Who is NOT Eligible? Churches serving only their own congregations, vacation bible schools and summer schools are not eligible. Will I receive some advice? Grant Writing Workshops are offered multiple times a year at the Main Library and Foundation office. Please check rcfoundation.org for details. What is the application process?
