Message from the Principal -Dr. Brandts

Tis the season to be jolly! It is December and Summerwind has many activities for our families to enjoy as we end the 2018 year. In No-vember, we found we have much to be thankful for. Summerwind has the best staff, students, parents, and PTA. Our PTA was able to provide Thanksgiving baskets to Summerwind families thanks to donations from Summerwind students and staff. We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving break. As school gets out for winter break, students will have completed 1/2 of their school year. December 21st is the end of the first semester. It is exciting to see the growth that our students have made as well as increasing the number of parents that are in-volved in school activities.

December is full of activities. As we transition from Fall to Win-ter, please make sure that your child is properly dressed and wears a jacket or coat to school. This time of the year, our lost and found starts to pile up. Please label jackets, coats, and lunch boxes with your child’s name. We do have a coat drive until December 7th. This is a great way to donate an outgrown jacket to a child in need and you can also re-quest a new to you jacket for your child. The PTA wants to make sure all of our students are warm for our winter season.

December 8, Summerwind will have a float in the Palmdale Christmas Parade where the parade route is down Summerwind Drive. We will have many different student groups representing Summerwind including our ASB, Peer Mediators, and Folkloric Dancers. We encour-age you to park in our back lot where gates will be open and set up your lawn chairs along Summerwind’s sidewalks to cheer on our stu-dents. PTA will also have a family night on December 14, Winter Won-derland, where students can make holiday crafts and there is a special visitor. December 18, 19, & 20th will be various Winter Programs where our students will perform for our Summerwind families. Decem-ber 21 is a minimum day with school dismissing at 12:07 and students will enjoy three weeks off with their families. School will resume on Jan-uary 14, 2019.

On behalf of the Summerwind staff, we would like to wish all of our families happy holidays! We hope you enjoy your three weeks off and have plenty of quality family time. We will see you back to school on Monday, January 14, 2019.

A Happy Holidays to Summerwind Parents:

This month, I would like to highlight our awesome Associat-ed Students Body (ASB) officers and class representa-tives. Our current officers and class representatives are comprised of 4th and 5th grade students. In September, we held nominations, campaigning (which included video “Vote for me”) and finally elections. Based on the results of the student votes determined the ASB group. Then, the elected students voted on the different officer posi-tions. The class representatives were determined by votes

received by their classmates. They meet as a group twice monthly to discuss and plan activities. They are being exposed to budgeting, raising fund for events, and how to run a meeting.

The ASB students are starting off a busy first semester! The ASB will attend their first ASB Lead-ership Conference on December 5, 2018 at David G. Millan Middle School. They will be able to meet other student leaders from Palmdale School District. On December 8, 2018, they are going to be part of the Summerwind float for the Palmdale Holiday Parade carrying a school ban-ner. Lastly, they will host their first fundraiser on Dec. 17-20, 2018 selling Winter Grams. These are winter shapes notes to be bought and given to other students to share positive affirmations. A great way to kick off our winter break!

For spring 2019, the students are beginning to discuss the possibility of a dance to kick off our spring testing and another fundraiser for February. The students are getting excited for the possibilities for fun activities for the school. They will also discuss ways they can give back to the community by volunteering.

AAPAC News

Congratulation to Radyance Love-Thomas and Joseph Brown, the Summer-

wind students who were honored for their outstanding citizenship on Thursday,

November 29th at the PSD’s Unity in the Community event at Cimarron Ele-

mentary School. This event was titled Specialized Educational Opportunities and

talked about all of the programs available to our students. We’d like to welcome Grace, Freddy, Jayloni, Jaco-

ri, Roderick, and Matthew, the students that have signed up to be part of SW’s student AAPAC group. A stu-

dent AAPAC meeting is planned for next week, Tuesday, December 4th from 2:15-3:15 in Room 18. Notices

will be sent to students’ classes. These students will help plan, decorate and perform at our Black History

Month program which is scheduled for the evening of Thursday, February 21, 2019. If any students or parents

are interested in performing, setting up or decorating for this event, please let Mrs. Pace or the office know.

We still look forward to adding more members to our group this year. We still need YOU to be a part of what

is going on at SW and throughout the PSD. Our parent and student AAPAC group’s next meeting is sched-

uled for January 15th and we look forward to seeing you there from 2:15-3:15 in Room 15. Remember to

bring a friend or parent. As always, childcare and refreshments are provided.

Kinder News

Hello Parents,

This is a very busy time of year for us as the holidays are upon us and the 1st Semester of school is coming to an end! All of the teachers are so proud of the progress that our students have made. We are excited to announce that we will be a part of the Winter Holiday Program this year. Mrs. Elliott and Mrs. Vento's classes will be performing on December 18, and Mrs. Eisenmenger and Ms. Eckmann's classes will be performing on December 20. Performances will be at 6:00 in the cafeteria so please save the date! In the classroom we continue to work on our letters and sounds, numbers, and reading Purple and Blue Rainbow Words. Please continue to practice at home daily with your children as they will be tested on these skills for report cards. In Language Arts we are on Unit 4 which focuses on "Why Writers Tell Stories" where we are learning about fiction and non-fiction elements to the stories we are reading. Please remember that our Winter Break will be from December 24 - January 11. We hope that you have a very joyful holiday with your families and we will see you in the New Year!

Second Grade News

The second grade students did a wonderful job on their animal re-

search projects. They read about an animal, wrote about that animal

and made a visual aid. They then presented their research to the

class. This was our culminating activity for our unit on animals and their habitats.

On December 7, there will be a celebration for students that have met their AR goals. Teachers encourage students

to take home their AR books to read in order to reach their goals. If your student is not bringing their books home,

please encourage them to do so.

In math we are finishing Module 4. Students will take the end of module test before the winter break. Review addi-

tion and subtraction with regrouping at home as much as possible. If your teach-

er has given your child a Zearn code, this is a great way to practice at home too.

All second grade students will be participating in the Holiday Performances. Mrs.

Nystrom/Beardsley’s class will perform on 12/18 at 6:00 pm. Mrs.

McGuinness, Mrs. Aceves and Mrs. Anthony’s classes will perform on

12/20 at 6:00. We hope to see you there!

FIRST GRADE NEWS

Our first semester of first grade is almost over...Can you believe it? It has flown by!!! This month Mrs. Garcia's and Ms. Granger's classes will perform in our Holiday program on 12/18 at 6pm. Look for a Dojo text regarding when those teachers want you back at school that evening. Bring your cameras!!!

Our first graders are making great progress on their reading abilities this semester. Read-ing logs, Reading fluency and little books sent home are always great home helpers. Math is also improving each and every day. Keep up the great work you are doing at home!!! Our classes will enjoy some well deserved awards in January (time to be announced). You will receive a flyer attached to your child's report card being sent home on Friday, December 21st. If your child has not earned an award this time, keep working hard in the 2nd semes-ter!

Our Smencil fundraiser is going over really well!!! The school children have requested we order more as we are almost sold out of pencils! YAY!!! All monies earned will go toward our end of year Field Trip (destination to be determined). Thanks for all you do for your AWESOME FIRST GRADER!!!!

Third Grade News

We would like to say thank you to all the families that donated items for the Thanksgiving

Food Baskets. GOOD JOB to all the students who performed at the Patriotic Program that

honored those who serve active duty and veterans for the United States of America. Thank

you to Mrs. Perkins, Mrs. Jacobs, and Mr. Angelucci for your help with the performance.

The Third graders are now learning about point of view in Language Arts. Students will be

reading and comparing different versions of stories such as Cinderella and Jack and the Beanstalk to analyze point of view.

In math, they are finishing Module 3 in which they are working on properties of multiplica-

tion and division and solving the unknown in math sentences. Students will soon work on area

with arrays and solving application problems involving area in Module 4.

FOURTH GRADE NEWS

4th Grade has just started Unit 4 in Language Arts. The focus of this unit is Point of View. Students are working hard at analyzing the point of view of a piece of liter-ature, and are also looking at literature from the point of view of different charac-ters. Students are doing this through the creation of Thinking Maps, and in their writing. We encourage you to have your child discuss the point of view of their li-brary books, and to have them tell you about an event from a different point of view than the one the author presented. Please discuss how the views are different, and why.

Students can earn a free ticket to Six Flags by recording their reading time. They should be reading from 20-30 minutes every night. The 4th Grade AR Reading Re-

ward Party will be on Friday, December 14. Students must have met 100% of their 1st Semester goal! The last day to take AR tests to count toward that reward will be on Wednesday, December 12.

Please continue to work on Basic Math Facts of ➗, X, +, -. We have just reorganized our Clinic Groups

to focus on Multiplication and Division skills. Addition and subtraction skills are necessary in order to get the multiplication and division problems correct.

Please make sure that your child has their own, personal set of headphones or earbuds to use in class. It is much healthier for your child to always use their own.

Kleenex donations are ALWAYS welcome!

5TH GRADE NEWS

Dear Parents, Unfortunately, Outdoor Science School has been cancelled due to lack of interest. At the end of January, 5th graders will begin Super Science. This will be taught by Jeremy Amarant from the SAGE Planetarium one day a week for eight weeks. He will be covering 5th grade science standards using demonstrations and some hands on activities. It is a fun experience for the students.

Seasons Greetings SummerWind family, Winter break is right around the corner... But before we go; we have a lot of great activities planned. Our annual food drive was a great success. Thank you to all who donated, because of your generosity many deserving families had an especially happy Thanksgiving. Our coat drive will continue until December 7th. If your child has a coat they have out grown, please donate it. A warm coat means a lot during a cold winter, or if you would like to receive a coat , flyers have been sent home with all the details. Let’s work together to keep kids warm this winter! Come celebrate the most wonderful time of the year with us at our Winter Wonderland !!! Friday December 14th from 5:30-7:30. We will have holiday themed crafts , snacks , letters to Santa and even the man in red himself ...... Santa will be there to add a dash of North Pole magic. Tickets are 3$ for PTA members and 5$ for non members. We hope to see you all there! December 11, 12, 13, 18, and 19th ... we will be having our Santa’s Secret Shop. Which is a fun opportunity for your kids to do a little holiday shopping of their own. Your student can choose gifts for their loved ones from our Secret Shop proudly put together by the SummerWind PTA. Gifts range in price from 1$ -5$ , all students will have an opportunity to visit. Feel free to send your child with a list and we will happily help them find gifts for everyone on your list. With so many activities planned , volunteers are always needed and greatly appreciated. hank you for all your help throughout the school year. Es la temporada para estar alegre! Es Diciembre y Summerwind tiene muchas actividades para que nuestras familias disfruten al finalizar el año 2018. En Noviembre, encontramos que teníamos mucho que agradecer. Sum-merwind tiene el mejor personal, estudiantes, padres, y PTA! Nuestro PTA pudo proporcionar canastas de acción de gracias a las familias de Summerwind gracias a las donaciones de los estudiantes y el personal de Summer-wind. Esperamos que todos hayan tenido un maravilloso descanso de acción de gracias. A medida que la escuela sale para las vacaciones de invierno, los estudiantes ha-brán completado la mitad de su año escolar. El 21 de Dic-iembre es el final del primer semestre. Es emocionante ver el crecimiento que han hecho nuestros estudiantes y tambíen aumentar la cantidad de padres que participan en las actividades escolares.

Diciembre está lleno de actividades. Al pasar del otoño al invierno, asegúrese de que su hijo(a) éste bien vestido y que lleve una chaqueta o abrigo a la escuela. En esta época del año, los per-didos y encontrados comienzan a acumularse. Etiquete las chaquetas, abrigos, y loncheras con el nombre de su hijo(a). Tenemos una campaña de abrigos hasta el 7 de Diciembre. Esta es una excelente manera de donar una chaqueta superada a un niño(a) necesitado y tambíen puede solicitar una chaqueta nueva a usted para su hijo(a). El PTA quiere asegurarse de que todos nuestros estudiantes estén calientitos para nues-tra temporada de invierno.

El 8 de Diciembre, Summerwind tendrá una carroza en el desfile navideño de Palmdale donde la ruta del desfile es Summerwind Drive. Tendremos muchos grupos de estudiantes diferentes que representarán a Summerwind incluidos nuestro ASB, mediadores de compañeros, y bailarines folkloricos. Los alentamos a que se estacio-nen en nuestro estacionamiento de atrás, donde se abrirán las puertas y que instale sus sillas a lo largo de las aceras de Summerwind para animar a nuestros estudiantes! El PTA tambíen tendrá una noche familiar el 14 de Diciembre. Winter Wonderland, donde los estudiantes pueden hacer manualidades festivos y hay un visitante especial. El 18, 19 y 20 de Diciembre habrá varios programas festivos donde nuestros estu-diantes actuarán para nuestras familias de Summerwind. El 21 de Diciembre es día mínimo con salida de la escuela a las 12:07 y los estudiantes disfrutarán de 3 semanas de descanso con sus familias. La escuela se reanudará el 14 de Enero, 2019.

Feliz Días de Fiesta a todo los padres de Summerwind:

Este mes, me gustaría destacar a nuestros impresionante Funcionarios del Cuerpo Estudiantil Asociado (ASB) y representantes de clase. Nues-tros oficiales y representantes de clase están compuestos por estu-diantes de grados cuarto y quinto. En Septiembre realizamos nomi-naciones, campañas (que incluyeron un video “Vota por Mi”) y final-mente elecciones. Basado en los resultados de los votos de los estu-diantes determinó el grupo ASB. Luego, los estudiantes eligidos vota-ron en las diferentes posiciones de oficiales. Los representantes de la clase fueron determinados por los votos recibidos por sus compañeros. Se reúnen como grupo dos veces al mes para discutir y planificar ac-tividades. Están expuestos a la elaboración de presupuestos, a la recau-

dación de fondos para eventos, y a cómo llevar a cabo una reunión.

Los estudiantes de ASB están comenzando un primer semestre ocupado! ASB asistirá a su primero conferen-cia de liderazgo el 5 de Diciembre de 2018, en la Escuela Secundaria David G. Millen. Podrán conocer a otros líderes estudiantiles del Distrito de Palmdale. El Sabado, 8 de Diciembre, 2018, van a ser parte de la carroza de Summerwind para el desfile navideño de Palmdale cargando una pancarta escolar. Por último, serán an-fitriones de su primer evento para recaudar fondos el 17-20 de Diciembre vendiendo Winter Grams. Estas son notas en formas de invierno que se comprarán y se entregarán a otros estudiantes para compartir afir-maciones positivas. ¡Una excelente manera de comenzar nuestras vacaciones de invierno!

Para La primavera de 2019, los estudiantes están comenzando a discutir la posibilidad de un baile para dar inicio a nuestras pruebas de primavera y otro evento para recaudar fondos para Febrero. Los estudiantes se están entusiasmando con las posibilidades de actividades divertidas para la escuela. También hablarán sobre las formas en que puedan contribuir a la comunidad como voluntarios.

Felicades a Radyance Love-Thomas y Joseph Brown, los estudiantes de Summerwind que fueron honra-

dos por su destacada cuidadanía el Jueves, 29 de Noviembre de 2018 en el evento Unity in the Communi-

ty de PSD en la escuela primaria Cimarron. Este evento fue titulado Oportunidades Educativas Especial-

izadas y se habló sobre todos los programas disponibles para todos nuestros estudiantes. Nos gustaría dar

la bienvenida a Grace, Freddy, Jayloni, Jacori, Roderick y Matthew, los estudiantes que se han inscrito

para formar el grupo de estudiantes de AAPAC de Summerwind. Se planea una reunión de AAPAC para

la próxima semana, Martes, 4 de Diciembre de 2:15-3:15 en el salon 18. Los avisos serán enviados a las

clases de los estudiantes. Estos estudiantes ayudarán a planificar, decorar, y actuar en nuestro programa

del mes de la Historia Afroamericano, que está programado para la tarde de Jueves, 21 de Febrero, 2019.

Si algún alumno o padre está interesado en actuar, preparar or decorar para este evento, por favor avise a

la Sra. Pace o a la oficina. Todavía esperamos agregar más miembros a nuestro grupo este año. Aún

necesitamos a USTED que sean parte de lo que está sucediendo en Summerwind y en todo el Distrito de

Palmdale. Nuestra próxima reunión de padres y estudiantes de AAPAC está programada para el 15 de

Enero, 2019, y esperamos verlos allí de 2:15-3:15 en el salon 15. Recuerde traer a un amigo o padre. Co-

mo siempre, se ofrece cuidado de niños y refrescos.

Hola Padres, Esta es una época muy ocupada del año ya que se acercan los días festivos y el primer semestre de la escuela está llegando a su fin! Todos los maestros(as) están muy orgullosos del progreso que nuestros estudiantes han hecho. Nos complace anunciar que seremos parte de el Programa de Días festivos este año. Las clases de la Sra. Elliott y Sra. Vento se presentarán Miercoles, 18 de Diciembre y las clases de la Sra. Eisenmenger y Sra. Eckmann se presentarán el Viernes, 20 de Diciembre. Las presentaciones serán a las 6:00 p.m. en la cafetería, así por favor reserva la fecha. En el salon, seguimos trabajando en nuestras letras, sonidos, números, y leyendo las palabras del arco iris, púrpura y azul. Por favor continué practicando en casa diariamente con sus hijos ya que se evalua-rán estas habilidades para las calificaciones. En Artes de Lenguaje, estamos en la unidad que se centra en “Por Qué Los Escritores Cuentan Histo-rias” donde estamos aprendiendo sobre elementos de ficción y no ficción a las historias que estamos

leyendo. Por favor recuerden que las vacaciones de invierno serán de 24 de Diciembre hasta el 11 de Enero, 2019. Esperamos que tengan unas vacaciones muy alegres con sus familias y los veremos en el Año Nuevo! Sinceramente, El Equipo de Kinder

PRIMER GRADO

Nuestro primer semestre de primer grado casi a termi-nado….. Lo puede creer? Ha volado el tiempo!! Este mes los salones de la Sra. Garcia y la Sra. Granger se presentarán en nuestro programa de días festivos el 18 de Diciembre a las 6:00 p.m. Busque un texto en Dojo sobre cuándo esas maestras quieren que re-gresen a la escuela esa noche. ¡Traigan sus cámaras!

Nuestros estudiantes de primer grado están marcando un gran progreso en sus habilidades de lectura este semestre. Registros de lectura, fluidez de lectura, y pequeños libros enviados a casa siempre son ex-celentes ayudantes en casa. ¡Las matemáticas también están mejorando cada día!!! Sigan con el gran tra-bajo que están haciendo en casa. Nuestras clases disfrutarán de algunos premios merecidos en Enero (hora por anunciar). Nuestro recaudador de fondos de Smencil está pasando muy bien. Los niños nos han pedido que ordenemos más ya que casi estamos agota-dos de lápices! YAY!!! Todo el dinero ganado se destinará a nuestra ex-cursión de fin de año (el destino se determinará). ¡Gracias por todo lo que hace por sus increíbles niños de primer grado!

Noticias de Segundo Grado

Los estudiantes de segundo grado hicieron un trabajo maravil-loso en sus proyectos de investigación de animales. Leyeron sobre un animal, escribieron sobre ese animal, y hicieron una ayuda visual. Luego presentaron su investigación a la clase. Esta fue nuestra actividad cul-minante para nuestra unidad sobre los animales y sus hábitats.

El 7 de Diciembre, habrá una celebracion para los estudiantes que hayan alcanzado su meta de AR. Los maestros(as) animan a los estudiantes a llevarse a casa sus libros de AR para leer y alcanzar sus metas. Si su hijo(a) no trae sus libros a casa, por fa-vor anímelos a que lo hagan.

En matemáticas, estamos terminando el modulo 4. Los estudiantes tomarán el final de la prueba del modulo antes de las vaccaciones de invierno. Revise la suma y la resta con reagrupación en casa tanto co-mo sea posible. Si su maestro(a) le ha dado a su hijo(a) un código para Zearn, esta también es una excelen-te manera de practicar en casa.

Todos los estudiantes de segundo grado participarán en las presentaciones de días festivos. La clases de la Sra. Nystrom, Granger, Garcia, Vento y Elliott se presentarán el 18 de Diciem-bre a las 6:00 p.m. Las clases de la Sra. Hungerford, Figueroa, Aceves y Folklorico se presentarán el Miercoles, 19 de Diciem-bre. Las clases de la Sra. Carey, McGuiness, Anthony, Eckmann, y Eisengmenger se presentarán el 20 de Diciembre a las 6:00 p.m. Esperamos verlos ahi!

Noticias de Tercer Grado

CUARTO GRADO 4to Grado acaba de comenzar la Unidad 4 en Artes de Lenguaje. El enfoque de esta unidad es el punto de vista. Los estudiantes están trabajando duro para analizar el punto de vista de una pieza de literatura y también están mirando literatura desde el punto de vista de diferentes personajes. Los estudiantes están haciendo esto a través de la creación de Mapas de Pensamiento y en su escritura. Le alentamos a que haga que su hijo(a) discuta el punto de vista de sus libros libradores y que le cuenten sobre un evento desde un punto de vista diferente al que presentó el autor. Por favor discuta cómo las vistas son diferentes y por qué. Los estudiantes pueden ganar un boleto a Six Flags al registrar su tiempo de lectura.

Deben estar leyendo entre 20-30 minutos cada noche. La fiesta de recompensa de lectura AR de 4to grado será el Viernes 14 de Diciembre. Los estudiantes deben haber cumplido 100% de su meta del primer se-mestre! El último día para tomar exámenes de AR para contar hacia esa recompensa será el Miércoles, 12 de Diciembre. Por favor continué trabajando en hechos matemáticos básicos de ÷, X, +, -. Acabamos de reorganizar nuestros grupos clínicos para enfocar las habilidades de multiplicación y división. Habilidades de suma y res-ta son necesarias para corregir los problemas de multiplicación y división. Por favor asegúrese de que su hijo(a) tenga sus propios auriculares personales para usar in clase. Es mucho más saludable que su hijo(a) siempre use el suyo.

Nos gustaría dar las gracias a todas las familias que donaron para las canastas de ali-

mentos del Día de Acción de Gracias. BUEN TRABAJO a todos los estudiantes que se

presentaron en el Programa Patriótico que honraron a aquellos que prestan servicio

activo y veteranos en los Estados Unidos. Gracias a la Sra. Perkins, Sra. Jacobs, y Sr.

Angelucci por su ayuda con el rendimiento.

Los de tercer grado ahora están aprendiendo sobre el punto de

vista en Artes de Lenguaje. Los estudiantes leerán y compararán

diferentes versiones de historias como Cinderella y Jack and the Beanstalk para analizar el punto de vista.

En matemáticas, están terminando el módulo 3 en el que están trabajando en propie-

dades de multiplicación y división y resolviendo lo desconocido en oraciones matemát-

icas. Los estudiantes pronto trabajarán en el área con arrays y resolverán problemas

de aplicación relacionados con el área en el módulo 4.

Las vacaciones de invierno están a la vuelta de la esquina….. Pero antes de irnos, tenemos muchas grandes actividades planeadas.

Nuestra campaña anual de alimentos fue un gran éxito! Gracias a todos que donaron. Debido a su genorosidad, muchas familias merecedoras tuvieron un Día de Acción de Gracias especialmente feliz.

Nuestra campaña de abrigos continuará hasta el 7 de Diciembre. Si su hijo tiene un abrigo que ya no le queda, por favor dónelo. Un abrigo calientito significa mucho durante un invierno frío, o si desea recibir un abrigo, los volantes se han enviado a casa con todo los detalles. Trabajemos juntos para mantener a los niños calientitos este invierno! Venga a celebrar la época más maravillosa del año con nosotros en Winter Wonderland! El Viernes, 14 de Diciembre, 2018 de 5:30-7:30 p.m. Tendremos manualidades temáticas navideñas, bocadillos, cartas a Santa, e incluso el hombre de rojo! Santa estará allí para agregar un toque de magia del Polo Norte. Los boletos cuestan $3 para los miembros de PTA y $5 para no-miembros. ¡Esperamos verlos a todos allí! El 11, 12, 13, 18 y 19 de Diciembre tendremos nuestra tienda Secreta de Santa, que es una oportun-idad divertida para que sus hijos hagan sus propias compras navideñas. Su hijo(a) puede eligir regalos para sus seres queridos de nuestra Tienda Secreta organizada con orgullo por el PTA de Summerwind. Los re-galos varían en precio desde $1 a $5. Todos los estudiantes tendrán una oportunidad de visitar. Síéntase libre a enviar una lista con su hijo(a) y con gusto lo ayudaremos a encontrar regalos para todos en su lista. Con tantas actividades planificadas, los voluntarios siempre son necesarios y muy apreciados. Gracias por toda su ayuda durante el año escolar. 5th Grade News

Padres, Lamentablemente, la escuela de ciencias al aire libre ha sido cancelada debido a la falta de interés. A fi-nales de Enero, los estudiantes de 5to grado comenzarán Super Science. Esto será enseñado por el Sr. Jeremy Amarant del planetario SAGE una vez por semana por 8 semanas. Él cubrirá estándares de cien-cias de 5to grado con demostraciones, y algunas actividades prácticas. Es una experiencia divertida para los estudiantes.
