I left the elevator and looked at the events of the day and realized I was tired of all

the restrictions necessary to staying healthy in this time of the covid-19 virus. I realized that what was really

bothering me was not what was on the board but what I was missing, namely, a great country ham breakfast at Weezies

Restaurant. With this I chuckled, vowed to have the boys pick up the makings for a good breakfast, and changed my attitude.

Paul talks a lot about attitude. He uses all kinds of words for it. A lot of the time he asks us to put on the mind of Christ. The Book of Revelation is written to help those under persecution have the right attitude toward the world and not get discouraged. We live in a time

of uncertainty and yet we are better served if we are intentional about our attitude toward what we read, see and hear. My wife aspires not to read the newspaper until after she prays and reads scripture in the morning! Probably good advice! A good sense of humor, a charitable attitude toward others, a curiosity about how

others are doing, all of these lead us to a greater sense of the blessings in life. We have been given a wonderful example of what it means to live

life abundantly through the good news of the Gospels and the writings of Paul. It is

our calling to appreciate this and in turn bless those around us.
