• If you haven’t already, file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online at fafsa.ed.gov (SJU’s FAFSA code: 003367). Students must have a US Social Security number.

After you submit your deposit, log into The Nest at sju.edu/newhawks to complete your “SJU To Do List”: (you will use the same username and password as you did for the admitted student portal)

• Register for Orientation. The dates for Orientation are: June 22 – 23 Orientation 1 June 24 – 25 Orientation 2 June 26 – 27 Orientation 3 June 28 – 29 Orientation 4 June 30 – July 1 Orientation 5

• Confirm your major (even if you are undecided)

• Complete Placement tests. You are required to complete a language and math test in order for us to recommend which course level you are eligible for. Class registration occurs during Orientation.

• If you have high school college work credit that you are interested in transferring you will need to complete a form about these courses within the portal as well.

Iñigo: First Year Experience – Iñigo is the launching pad for a successful college experience at SJU. This workshop will show you how we create a sense of belonging for all first year students while exposing them to the time-honored ideals of a Jesuit education.

Athletics at SJU – Join an athletic administrator and student athletes for a discussion about opportunities with SJU’s varsity, club, and intramural sports.

Honors Program Q&A – This info session will provide insight to the Honors Program’s enriched General Education curriculum that broadens cultural interests, integrates knowledge, sharpens writing skills, and encourages student involvement in the learning process.

• Register for Orientation. The dates for Orientation are: June 22 – 23 Orientation 1 June 24 – 25 Orientation 2 June 26 – 27 Orientation 3 June 28 – 29 Orientation 4 June 30 – July 1 Orientation 5

• Confirm your major (even if you are undecided)

• Complete Placement tests. You are required to complete a language and math test in order for us to recommend which course level you are eligible for. Class registration occurs during Orientation.

• If you have high school college work credit that you are interested in transferring you will need to complete a form about these courses within the portal as well.
