Each month, when not impeded by a privileged Feast, the Mass will be a votive of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and Solemn Vespers will be sung in the Chapel, followed by Adoration and Benediction of the Most Blessed Sacrament. LOOKING AHEAD: The Feast of the Ascension of Our Lord, a Holy Day of Obligation, falls on Thursday, May 9, this year. In addition to the morning “low” Mass, a Sung Mass with Solemnity will be offered at 7:00 p.m. Please note that the Vigil Mass of the Ascension the preceding Wednesday does not fulfill the Ascension obligation.
