*This week we are instituting a monthly observance of First Friday devotions. Each month,when not impeded by a privileged Feast, the Mass will be a votive of the Sacred Heart of Jesus,and Solemn Vespers will be sung in the Chapel, followed by Adoration and Benediction of theMost Blessed Sacrament.
LOOKING AHEAD: The Feast of the Ascension of Our Lord, a Holy Day of Obligation, fallson Thursday, May 9, this year. In addition to the morning “low” Mass, a Sung Mass withSolemnity will be offered at 7:00 p.m. Please note that the Vigil Mass of the Ascension thepreceding Wednesday does not fulfill the Ascension obligation.
