The Five & Two Ministry allows us to be the church in the community. We serve those who are food insecure in our community by meeting them where they are and offering healthy meals, friendship and hope. All are welcome to volunteer — there is something for everyone to do! Contact Rev. Allen Lutes, [email protected].

Youth Director: Christine Coleman [email protected] • 817.737.3161

Wednesday Meetups are happening at church during Heights Nights! Come hear what the church has planned.

Friday Bible Study for High School: 6:30 a.m. Starbucks in Trinity Commons. Text Christine if joining.

All children grades k–6 are invited to be a part of the singing and fellowship of AHUMC’s Children’s/Junior Choirs. Sunday rehearsals: Children’s Choir (grades K–3) meets 4–5 p.m.; Junior Choir (grades 4–6) meets 5–7 p.m.

Preschool Playdays: Preschoolers and parents are invited to the Kids Kingdom (preschool area) for playdates, 1–2:30 p.m. Fridays. This is not a drop-off event, but an opportunity for kids and parents to make new friends! Contact Linda Nevitt, Children’s Coordinator, [email protected].

Make a Joyful Noise with GraceNotes! GraceNotes Women’s Ensemble rehearses Wednesdays at 6:15 p.m., Room 211. Frank Shroyer ([email protected]) directs the group with Alan Kerr as accompanist. All women are welcome to participate. This group is perfect for those unable to sing in the Chancel Choir on a weekly basis.

The Power of One: Every dollar bill that is placed in the offering plate is put in a special account called “Power of One.” The purpose for this fund is both to create a “holy habit” and to fund special projects that are not budgeted. Rather than passing the plate without making a contribution, you are encouraged to place a dollar bill in the plate as a means of participating fully in this act of worship. A dollar may seem like a small amount, but the Power of One can make a difference in our congregation.

uPCOMING eVeNTS: Mark Your Calendar!
