It is the Sunnyside Tavern’s policy to ensure that all of our guests travel home safely. We have a courtesy bus available at all mes and we can arrange for the transporta on of you and your guests a er your func on.
CAKEAGE
Our chefs are happy to cut your cake free of charge. We do not charge cakeage.
ENTERTAINMENT
At the Sunnyside Tavern, we can cater to your entertainment needs. We can hire soloists, duo’s, bands, DJ’s and karaoke through our booking agents. Payment is required 3 weeks in advance.
Alterna vely, we have some sound and vision facili es which you can u lise to play music and photo slideshows.
DIETARY REQUIREMENTS
Our team of qualifi ed chefs take great care in the prepara on of menu items, however we understand that some guests may have allergies or intolerances.
We will endeavour to cater for all of your guests, so our func ons coordinator is available to discuss all of your dietary requirements.

ROOM HIRE
The func on areas are hired out at a fl at rate of $200.
A minimum food spend of $750 is required to secure sec ons of the restaurant.
No minimum spend required for the beer garden.

COCKTAILS
SECURITY
It is the Sunnyside Tavern’s responsibility to provide security for func ons at which they are deemed necessary including 18th birthdays, buck’s shows and hen’s par es.
As such, the hotel will charge security costs at the rate of $25 per security guard per hour required. It is at the discre on of management as to the number of guards needed, however this will be organised prior to the func on.
MINORS
Minors are allowed in the hotel, however they must remain in the func on area and be in the immediate company of a responsible adult.
Any minor trying to purchase or consume alcohol will be removed from the venue immediately, as will any person encouraging the behaviour.
RESPONSIBLE SERVICE OF ALCOHOL
In accordance with the liquor licensing laws and the responsible service of alcohol, the Sunnyside Tavern reserves the right to refuse service of alcohol to any guest who shows signs of intoxica on.
Entry to the hotel will not be permited if guest are intoxicated or under the infl uence of drugs.
The Sunnyside Tavern has a zero tolerance policy on drugs.
Only alcohol purchased on premise can be consumed at the Sunnyside Tavern.

For us to maintain our high standards and provide the best possible environment, we ask that the following conditions be adhered to:
DEPOSIT
Bookings are considered tenta ve un l a $200 Room hire deposit has been paid.
Cancella ons within 21 days of the confi rmed func on will result in the loss of your deposit.
FUNCTION NUMBERS
Confi rma on of fi nal numbers is required at least 72 hours prior to the func on. Charges will be based on guaranteed numbers or the fi nal head count, whichever is greater. Should the guaranteed number of guests decrease considerably from the original quote, the Sunnyside Tavern reserves the right to charge venue hire to meet minimum spend requirements.
