PIER SELF HELP REPAIRS: Kudos to Dougas Turney and his team of self-helping volunteers for repairing the boards of our pier! THE DIRECTORY WILL HAVE COPIES. STAY TUNED . . . ! Thanks to Linda Phillips for all

her work on this project!

STATUS OF RENTALS: TELL US WHAT YOU THINK RENTAL CONDOMINIUM UNITS: The Association’s prior Board succeeded in reducing the illegal rentals (which has

reached its 20% limit of rental units as specified in the covenants). The current Board continues to remind realtors and

property management firms that the Association has a rental limit and is strictly enforcing the rental rules and penalties,

as required. HOWEVER—this Board is currently reviewing two proposed systems to achieve a fair and equitable method

of application by owners to rent their units out. Please give us your feedback! Three proposed systems are:

A. First-come, first-serve consideration?

B. In order of seniority of ownership

C. A drawing (random)

THE “NO GUILT” LADIES BOOK CLUB . . . Want to join other literary ladies in a guilt-free book club?

You may attend and listen even if you have not read the assigned book! This club is a flimsy

excuse for socializing and pretending we are well read. Email Deborah at [email protected] to tell us if

you are interested! We are currently reading Tom Shroder’s “Old Souls” investigation of reincarnation.

NEED TO TELL THE BOARD SOMETHING? CONTACT US @ [email protected] In case of a maintenance emergency impacting the community, please contact Board President Shari Baer: [email protected]

PLEASE REMEMBER: ALL THE BOARD MEMBERS ARE VOLUNTEERS—AND

MANY OF THEM HAVE REGULAR DAY JOBS. THEY HAVE VOLUNTEERED TO

HELP OUR HOA. PLEASE BE MINDFUL OF THEIR TIME IN MAKING YOUR

REQUESTS OR COMPLAINTS . . . AND UNDERSTAND THAT THE ENTIRE BOARD

REVIEWS MANY OF THE COMMUNICATIONS. EVERYTHING TAKES TIME.

PLEASE BE KIND—DON’T BE GRUMPY!!

Alligators in the Pond!

Please be careful when visiting the pond area. Two

small alligators have made our pond their home.

We hope to be able to rehome them soon.
