St. Mark’s Episcopal Church and School www.stmarkspbg.org Sunshine State Young Readers Award A vong party for students in grades 3-8 who read and passed at least 3 A/R tests for this year’s Sunshine State Young Readers Award (SSYRA) was held in the media center on Friday, April 4, 2014. Students who read at least 7 books also received a special commemorave pin to wear on their uniform shirts or blazer in middle school. Students voted for their favorite book while enjoying their lunch and an ice cream sundae for dessert. Congratulaons to Ben Whiield, who read all 15 books in the 3 rd -5 th grade level, and congratulaons to the following students who read seven or more books: Lilly Bedard (10), Alexandra Brodner (8), Davis Crall (8), Mira Joeckel (10), Lana McCloskey (10), and Christopher Smith (7). Congratulaons to each of the 40 students who parcipated in this year’s SSYR as follows: Abbie Alvarez, Lilly Bedard, Noelle Bedard, Mahew Berube, Donald Brady, Alexandra Brodner, Caroline Carbone, Davis Crall, Sarah Caroline Crall, Oliver DeFerrari, Gianna Dunham, Meghan Heilpern, Ally Hurd, , Mira Joeckel, Alexa Ketchum, Ava Kramer, Shane Lunsford, Connor Mackey, Lana McCloskey, Kylie McKenna, Jaden Mekled, Cassandra Messinger, Ben Murphy, Maura Null, Shea O’Donoghue, Liya Osiyemi, Chrisna Palladino, Cameron Pirozzi, Madelyn Popilek, Zack Roa, Isabel Samarias, Danny Simon, Mahew Simon, Christopher Smith, Chrisan Tiipa, Alyssa Vitale, Wesley Wheat, Ben Whiield, Somyr Woods-Mercado, and Sabrina Wright.
