WOOD TREATMENTAquaShield Wood Treatment is a highly durable water repellent impregnation formula based on nano-polymer technology. The coating is an easy to use multifunctional water based spray presenting a superior level of super hydrophobic and oleophobic properties for use on any raw untreated wood.

Many existing clear coat treatments for raw wood are environmentally hazardous requiring the use of strong solvent based chemicals, or rely on wax and oils which wear off quickly. AquaShield Wood Treatment provides years of protection from water, algae and mold, even UV bleaching with one easy application. The coating is water based, environmentally friendly and non-toxic.

Advancements in nanotechnology have made this combination of environmentally responsible and potent water repellent coatings at reasonable prices possible.

Although a simple spray on coating, the AquaShield Wood Treatment can also be applied through rolling, or for smaller wooden items, by submerging the item in the formula. Coverage rates are ideal in the industry allowing for as little as 20ml per square meter of surface.

The Wood Treatment is 100% transparent leaving no discoloration, but will add a slight change to tone similar to the low gloss of a light wood stain. Visual results will vary dependent on wood type and hardness and it is suggested that a small area be tested prior to full treatment.
