I find this mixture of products very informative because you don’t really get involved in just one industry. I was surprised to find escalators and all that. I am actually here to see roofing products and waterproofing materials. I am especially looking forward to coming so that I can find a new way to improve my company’s products and knowledge.

The exhibition actually is quite good. Currently, I’m here to source some products. I think this is a very good step because individual events can’t be as big, and with fewer people. By putting all the events together, I can see there were a lot more visitors. My priority is security surveillance equipment, and there are quite a lot of them from dierent suppliers and manufacturers.

ASEAN Super 8 is a common platform. I can see electrical, machinery, construction and elevator companies coming together. This is good because our company is engaged with all these dierent profiles of all types of business segment. This is a good platform. This is the first time I came and I find out it is a good exhibition.

I think this exhibition is getting better every year. I come here to see the development and advancements in video analytics technology. We can see a lot of new technologies being applied with the use of video analytics.

EXHIBITORS SATISFACTION
Based on my experience, this exhibition is the best in the solar industry. For the past few years, we have attended the IGEM solar exhibition, which is mainly our competitor. The crowd was not so big compared to this round. From the construction week, we saw a lot of new faces we haven’t seen before. It was more crowded and there were more opportunities this time than before. It was better this time. We hope we can participate every year.

Many years ago, we came here with another company and this is the first time we did it on our own. With the success, we are very glad to come here, so maybe for future exhibitions we are thinking to come again. We wish to find good distributors and sell our products through them. So, around Malaysia, we are selling to some countries and we wish to cooperate with some companies in the Malaysian market.
LEVENT GURBUZ General ManagerEZT Elektrik
I think this year’s crowd looks better than the one two years ago. However, people may say that students are not really a target market, but to CCB, students are one of their markets. Therefore, the promotion and advertising should be made to also reach students, IPTS and technical colleges because they are going to be important for the industry’s future. They can also join this exhibition, not just the professors or managers. At least they have the future in mind, what to refer to and where to go.
NADIAH MUSA General ManagerCentral Cables Berhad
First of all, branding is very important. We implemented some branding and marketing activities in Malaysia to show our latest technology. Second, I say this year is very good timing, because we call this year as our AI Cloud Year, and we need to let more people know about our AI cloud concept. Of course, every year I will attend because IFSEC is a very good platform for us and for all the excellent international manufacturers to show o the latest technology coming to Malaysia.

This is our first time participating in ASEAN Super 8, and we find it a truly amazing experience taking part in this expo and the community. I found that the organiser came up with a very interesting programme. We appreciate the work of Minister YB Tuan Baru Bian as he visited our booth. We managed to introduce our exhibit and brand to him. We also attended the dinner with Tun Mahathir. It was a very good experience and exposure for our company. We are very thankful that we participated in this expo this year.
DAVID MANSales ManagerThyssenkrupp Elevator Malaysia Sdn Bhd
The idea is to try to encourage visitors of other shows to come here. For us, I could say it worked well because we have a software solution that can be handled by any organisation’s technicians. For this reason, customers visiting other M&E business-related shows could easily handle our product, which is not only for security application, but also to improve productivity using a mobile app.
