So you’ve tried other diets before and they haven’t worked—you’ve gained all the weight back or lost nothing at all. I’ve been on that rollercoaster too, and was frustrated. But I’ve found a better way to lose weight and keep it off… I call it the Supercharged Fat Burning System. My broad background in nursing care included working as an ICU/CCU Nurse for several years which heightened my interest in the prevention of disease. Realizing that 8 out of 10 of the top diseases are nutrition-‐related led me to the study of nutrition. As a Nutritional Consultant for the past 10 years, my main interest has been promoting healthy weight loss. I have discovered that most people care more about losing weight than overall health unless they are already sick. I researched every weight loss program on the market so that I could effectively consult my clients concerning the healthy and more often the unhealthy weight loss methods these programs promoted. While reading Dr. A.T.W. Simeon’s work entitled “Pounds and Inches: A New Approach to Obesity,” my deep interest was sparked. I could see the deficiencies in the diet he had created, but put his protocol to the test with a study group of 12 people. Everyone lost an incredible amount of weight. I was the slowest loser of the group, losing a little more than ½ pound per day, but never before had I experienced such weight loss success! Certain stressful events in my life over the previous 3 years put 10 pounds on me at a time. Each time the scale went up I struggled to get it back down without success even with long, hard workouts and strict diets. My metabolism was slowing as I was nearing 50 years old and was on thyroid medication. Of this trial group, I was also the hungriest. If I had not seen the amazing results of the rest of my group, I would not have been able to recommend Simeon’s protocol despite my overwhelming success. Even though the test group experienced amazing results, Dr. Simeon’s diet, which was developed in the 1950s, was in need of updates based on modern nutritional science. Nutritional science has accelerated significantly in just the past 20 years. I drew upon my experience in medicine and nutrition to make the necessary changes. I also added an individualized “Lifetime Maintenance Plan” to help my clients keep the weight off long-‐term. The updated plan, which I name The Supercharged Fat Burning System™ is dynamic in that it is adaptable to the unique weight-‐loss needs of each participant. While most people on the plan do not feel hunger, there are a few who, because they have a slower metabolism or have less fat to lose, are hungrier than most. These individuals actually need to increase food intake to prevent their metabolism from slowing down, which in turn will actually increase their weight loss. Even though the diet has been improved significantly and made more nutritious, there were still inherent deficiencies in the diet. We have drawn upon the expertise of the best whole food supplement formulators to complete the lacking nutrients. Start taking the recommended dose of Supercharged hCG morning, lunch, and night. (pg. 8) Free days -‐ Indulge yourself with something you have been craving, but be careful not to overdo
it. Eat as much high fat foods as you want during these two days. (preferably healthy fats pg. 35 & 36)
Take the recommended dose of Supercharged hCG morning, lunch, and night as above . Begin the Supercharged Fat Burning Diet:
o Drink 1 oz. of water per pound of body weight per day. (pg. 16-‐19) o Do not eat breakfast. Drink only water or other non-‐calorie fluids, until lunch. (pg.15)
For both lunch and dinner: o Eat 30-‐36 grams of lean protein from the list. (pg. 13) o Eat as many vegetables from the list as you like. (pg. 13) o Eat one serving of fruit from the list. Fruit may also be eaten between lunch and dinner,
but should be eaten separately from each other, never together. (pg. 13) Take nutritional supplements that complete the deficiencies in the diet. (pg. 8-‐9, 26-‐27) Take a walk at 70% of your maximum heart rate. One hour per day is ideal. (pg. 20-‐22) Use hand creams and lotions sparingly while taking Supercharged hCG (pg. 15 "No added Fat") Keep a daily progress journal, to track your challenges and successes. Discontinue use of Supercharged hCG. Continue the Supercharged Fat Burning Diet for 48 hours
until the Supercharged hCG is out of your system. Begin the Weight Stabilization Diet. Continue with the daily diet outlined above, but add in:
o Breakfast o Any choice of meat for all meals o Any choice of fat -‐ the healthier the better (especially Omega 3 fats pg. 35-‐36) o Optional: 1-‐2 servings of healthy grains, legumes or starchy vegetables per day. These
need to be eaten with at least 20 grams of protein and never at the meal with your fruit. Track your weight vigilantly. Stabilizing the weight you have lost for 21 days resets your
hypothalamus to your new weight. Weigh yourself every single day, without fail. If you gain more than 2 pounds, follow the instructions on page 23.
You can eat more freely now, but continue to eat healthy to avoid future weight gain. For most, the occasional over indulgences cause no significant weight gain. But, if occasional
become frequent then you will start to gain again and turn off your fat burning capability.
Details of The Supercharged Fat Burning Phase Days 1 and 2: The Beginning Phase These first two days are critical for success! Take Supercharged hCG three times a day (first thing in the morning, after lunch, and at night) for two days. Eat anything you want, particularly foods high in fat. It is important to get the Supercharged hCG formula started in your system before you start the Supercharged Fat Burning Phase on day 3. Supplements are not needed during these two days because you should not be nutrient deficient on these days. Now is a good time to eat the healthy fat that will be restricted after day 2 of the program, including Omega 3 essential fatty acids found in salmon & flax oil, as well as avocados, nuts and olive oil. Eat as many foods as you can that contain healthy fats. Because you are already taking Supercharged hCG, the fat will be used for energy instead of remaining in your body. Some participants are resistant to this part of the diet because they are not accustomed to having a license to eat without worrying about gaining more weight. Please remember that this is a necessary part of the diet and that you will still lose weight during the first week. Just enjoy it! The purpose of these "free days" is to supply enough fat to be burned during the first three days of the diet. It takes three days before abnormally deposited fat begins to circulate and thus become available for metabolization. If you do not eat high fat food during the first two days of the diet you will be markedly hungrier during those first few days than those who did in the first few days when calories are restricted. It's a good idea to start to increase your water intake on these days so your bladder will adjust to needing to hold a larger quantity sooner. Days 3 to 23: The Supercharged Fat Burning Phase Begin the Supercharged Fat Burning Diet. Follow the diet strictly and without interruption for days 3-‐23. During this period your metabolism will increase. Your success will depend almost exclusively on how well you follow the Supercharged Fat Burning Diet. If you stray from the diet for a day or even a meal, you will experience increased hunger and a significant setback in weight loss (approximately 3 days). Although the calories are low during this phase, the nutrient level has been significantly increased from Dr. Simeon's protocol, along with the added nutrients of the supplements you can purchase. It is now healthier than the standard American diet. Drink 1 oz. of water for every pound of body weight. For example, if you weigh 160 tbs. you should drink 160 fluid ounces of water per day, which amounts to ten 16 oz. water bottles. If you weigh over 200 lbs. you do not need to drink more than 200 ounces or 13 water bottles. During this phase, you can have no added fat beyond the fat in your meat choice and the essential fatty acid in supplements, and no higher glycemic food other than your two fruits per day. They will keep you from burning your body fat for energy while taking hCG and following the Fat Burning Phase. When you are on the Stabilization Phase you can load up on the good fats and add in a few more grains, legumes, dairy and higher glycemic vegetables. In Life Time Maintenance you can add more of those healthy carbohydrates little by little. It is important to watch how your body reacts to carbohydrates and adjust your diet as needed.
Days 21 to 23: The Transition Phase At this point you will have used up your entire supply of Supercharged hCG but continue the Supercharged Fat Burning diet plan for two more days. Because Supercharged hCG will be in your system another two days you will continue to burn fat. As Supercharged hCG leaves your system you may notice that you are hungrier during these final days. Keep Supercharged hCG refrigerated at all times if possible. How to take Supercharged hCG
o For fastest absorption take before drinking any fluids. o Hold Supercharged hCG under the tongue for two minutes before swallowing. o Lay tongue into fluid to absorb into the capillaries under the tongue. o Do not eat or drink for ten minutes after taking Supercharged hCG to increase absorption.
Take one dose when you wake up, after lunch, and before bed. It doesn't matter if you have just eaten because it is absorbed into the blood stream via the capillaries under the tongue, not through the stomach to be broken down as food.
What is Supercharged hCG and how does it work? Supercharged hCG utilizes a natural hormone that is produced in the human body called hCG or human chorionic gonadotropin. It is the pregnancy hormone, but during pregnancy the levels double every two days. It allows the body to mobilize fat and use it as energy for both mother and fetus, providing an immediate energy source when needed. To capitalize on this same mechanism for weight loss purposes only a very small amount of hCG is used. Because using hCG in this way does not mimic pregnancy it can be safely used by both men and women. Is Supercharged hCG Safe? Pregnant women have very high levels of hCG with no adverse effects. The small amount of hCG contained in Supercharged hCG has no known side effects. Pregnant women have high levels of hCG, why don’t they lose weight? The hCG contained in Supercharged hCG works to mobilize fat for the body to use only when there is a significant decrease in calories and fat that are taken into the body. In other words, a starvation state must exist for Supercharged hCG to work. The Supercharged Fat Burning Diet is a very low calorie diet that triggers hCG to help rid the body of fat. Will my metabolism slow down? Normally when you cut back on calories and fat, the body stores fat and your metabolism slows down. This happens because fat is really a life-‐saving source of stored energy. When a very low calorie diet is used in conjunction with the Supercharged hCG formula the hormone in your body signals the body to use stored fat for energy, and eliminate excess fat reserves. This results in an increased metabolism.
Is Supercharged hCG really necessary? Wouldn’t I lose the same amount of weight eating a very low calorie diet? You can lose weight by simply eating fewer calories and fat, but because the body stores fat when fewer calories are ingested you will most likely lose muscle and bone before losing fat. Decreased muscle mass causes cellular metabolism to slow down, which may slow the process of losing weight and make gaining weight easier. By using Supercharged hCG with a low calorie diet, extra fat is mobilized for energy and the rest is eliminated. The low calorie diet is vital in preventing immediate refilling of emptied fat cells. Unlike eating a low calorie diet alone, Supercharged hCG aids i n increasing metabolism and mobilizing fat stores, leading to faster weight loss. Will I get hungry when taking Supercharged hCG? Because Supercharged hCG mobilizes fat and makes it available to the body as an energy source, it naturally reduces the appetite. Although you are eating fewer calories, in the Supercharged Fat Burning System , your body can more readily access the energy you have stored in fat cells. After about 3 days, many patients notice a significant decrease in appetite. In general, participants have plenty of energy and feel good while on the program. Will Supercharged hCG interfere with any medications I am taking? What about birth control pills or Depo-‐Provera injections? Supercharged hCG does not interfere with any medications, including birth control pills or Depo-‐Provera injections. Will I experience any changes in my menstrual cycle? Because the amount of hCG in Supercharged hCG is so small, Supercharged hCG will not cause changes in your menstrual cycle. Similarly, Supercharged hCG will not affect your ability to become pregnant, nor will it increase your chances of becoming pregnant. How much weight can I expect to lose while using Supercharged hCG? We are seeing a 10 to 30 lbs. loss in the first 20 day program. On average, our clientss lose around 14 to 16 lbs. It is important to measure. Inches are being lost continuously while on the program, even when weight loss slows down. Weight loss is achieved in a stair-‐step fashion. As you get closer to your goal weight loss may slow down to 1/2 pound per day. To get the best fat loss results, we recommend a minimum break of 7-‐14 days before starting a new round of Supercharged hCG.
Additional Rounds of Supercharged hCG
If you want to lose more weight, you may begin a second round of Supercharged hCG on day 28 of the program, but for best results, complete the stabilization phase first. It is good for your body to have a break and the stabilization diet makes you feel like you are splurging.
You can restart subsequent rounds of Supercharged hCG at any time while on the Stabilization diet, according to your personal schedule. When restarting subsequent rounds of Supercharged hCG, always begin with one to two days off the program while including good fats. Indulge yourself in with something you have been craving, but be careful not to overdo it.
Only if you have gone more than two weeks between rounds of Supercharged hCG should you start with two completely "free days" again.
When you have lost all that you want or you need a break for a while, always finish with 14 days of the Weight Stabilization Diet, so that you will maintain the weight you have lost up to that point. This resets your Hypothalamus to your new weight.
If you have only a short time frame and want to lose as much as possible in the time you have, you can use 2 rounds of Supercharged hCG back to back, but take a day off when starting the second bottle. Realize that you will not lose as much with the second bottle taken so soon after the first with no break. If you can be happy with whatever you lose for that time period than it can be worth it to you.
Nutritional Supplements: Nutritional Supplements: Fat Burning Phase (days 3-‐23) Weight Stabilization Phase (days 24-‐43)

Fat Burning Phase Allowed Food and Shopping Guide
Protein Eat 30-‐36 grams of protein for both lunch and dinner. For other sources, check nutritional labels to determine protein content. 5 oz. chicken tenders = 33 grams protein and less than 1 gram fat 5 oz. canned chicken = 32.5 grams protein and 1.25 grams fat 6 oz. crab/lobster/shrimp = 36 grams protein and less than 1 gram fat 5 oz. white fish = 36 grams protein and 1.5 grams fat. (Albacore Tuna in water, cod, haddock, halibut, monk fish, orange roughy, perch, polled!, snapper and yellow fin.) 5 oz. Salmon (omega 3's) 3 oz. turkey= 30 grams of protein and 3.2 grams fat 5 egg whites = 36 grams protein and 0 grams fat More important than ounces (weight) is the grams of protein you can eat for only 150 calories. Automatically it's low fat. You need 30-‐36 grams per meal.

Protein Animal proteins are a long-‐lasting energy source because they are more complex for the body to digest. Eat only very lean cuts of non-‐marbled meat Trim and remove all fat before weighing and cooking. GROUND BEEF is not advised because the fat content is too high. However, we did find at Costco, a canned roast beef that is very low in fat that can be used. It is best used in a soup as heating it makes it tender. Also, Oscar Myer has a deli meat that is 99% fat free and would also be acceptable at 3.5 oz. to get 30 grams of protein. Vegetarian proteins such as egg whites, whey protein powder and fat free cottage cheese are also acceptable. Please note, however, that because vegetarian proteins are more easily digested than animal proteins, you will feel hungry sooner after eating them. In addition, participants who eat exclusively vegetarian proteins typically do not lose weight as quickly. For this reason, animal proteins are preferred in the Supercharged Fat Burning Phase, Eat your protein first so that you don't fill up on vegetables and are too full to finish the amount of protein needed of at least 30 grams. Next, eat your fruit as your brain needs that carbohydrate. Last, eat as many vegetables as you want to feel full. Vegetables and Fruit Raw vegetables and fruits are recommended whenever possible because they contain more nutrients than cooked varieties. Studies show that we consume less than 1/5 of our daily requirement of fresh fruits and vegetables. A recent study by the CDC shows:
Most Americans will go up to 7-‐10 days without consuming even one fresh fruit or vegetable. Raw foods are more alive, so naturally, they are more life-‐giving and health-‐enhancing. Raw foods have enzymes. Raw foods have more oxygen than cooked or processed foods. Once digestive enzymes are depleted, the body draws from its supply of metabolic enzymes. That means that enzymes intended for other important processes in the body-‐such as immune function, energy production and the functioning of every organ system, including the workings of the brain are used for digestion instead.
Weighing fruit is best! Weighing lets you see how much a serving really looks like. Weigh without the pits. Any fruit not on this list has a higher glycemic level (raises blood sugar more significantly). If you choose to eat fruit that is not on the list you can have 2 ounces of it if you really want it but that is all! You need this fruit for the carbohydrates it has to offer for proper brain function. Your body can make a form of carbohydrate that most of the body loves. It does this with protein body fat. But, your brain needs the real thing.
Other Guidelines No Breakfast
While you are taking Supercharged hCG the body releases body fat only when it senses starvation. Your "starvation" period occurs every day after dinner until lunch the next day. Do not interrupt the system by eating breakfast during this time.
If you are extra hungry on a particular day have an extra mini meal between lunch and dinner or extra protein and veggies at the two meals. You will become more accustomed to no breakfast when Supercharged hCG starts to release fat for energy. This is why the first three days on the low calorie diet are hardest for some. Once more fat is released, hunger decreases. If it doesn't, read in the Trouble Shooting Guide for solutions.
The morning hours are a good time to drink plenty of water, especially since you have so much to drink each day. This can help to appease the appetite during this time. Skipping breakfast is not normally a good idea, but it is necessary in this program because Supercharged hCG releases fat stores only when the body is in a state of starvation. That starvation time is from dinner the night before to lunch the next day. Spices You can add spices and seasonings, but consult labels to determine carb content in spice blends and sauces. Eating spicy food can help decrease cravings and increase water intake. No Added Fat With the exception of small amounts of fat included in the allowed protein choices, no added fat is allowed in the Supercharged Fat Burning Phase. The less fat you ingest while taking Supercharged hCG during days 3-‐23, the more fat from body fat stores will be burned for energy. Read about the Omega 3 fatty acids on pages 11, 30, 32, 37
Unless your salad dressing is made with fresh flax oil choose fat free salad dressings. Wear gloves when handling fats or oils. Use mineral powder make-‐up or oil free make-‐up. Use lotions and lip oils sparingly.
Food Scale It is very important that you get a food scale and weigh each serving of meat and fruit. Remove pits before weighing fruit. Organic Organic foods are recommended, including meat, poultry, fruit and vegetables. In order to be organic, chicken should be free range with no antibiotics, and beef should be free range and hormone free. If you can't afford organic foods, you will still have success on the program. For a more affordable Organic meat, buy Tyson Chicken at your local grocer.
Sweeteners Synthetic sweeteners are allowed but not recommended because many people have adverse reactions to them. Choose healthier low glycemic sweeteners whenever possible, such as Blue Agave Nectar, Lo Han, Stevia or Xylitol. No Sugar
The two daily servings of fruit should contain the only significant carbohydrates in the Supercharged Fat Burning Phase.
o The two fruits per day are necessary for proper brain function as it mainly utilizes only carbohydrates for certain functions.
o Fruit is also helpful in regulating bowel function. o To keep other carbohydrates to a minimum choose sugar free or extremely low carbohydrate
dressings, sauces, seasoning and drinks. Remember to read food labels carefully. Maintaining low blood sugar will prevent the body from metabolizing excess carbohydrates and creating fat stores. This forces the body to utilize stored fat for energy when needed. Rather than reducing hunger eating more than the recommended amount of carbohydrates will actually increase hunger.
No Dairy
Their carbohydrates and/or fats are too high for the Supercharged Fat Burning Phase. Whey Protein from dairy is allowed because the carbs and fat have been removed. Read page 16 about protein.
Many have milk allergies without realizing. Just removing dairy will relieve symptoms.
No Grains Their carbohydrates are too high for the Supercharged Fat Burning Phase. Many are allergic to most grains without knowing. Although grains are not permitted during the "Fat Burning Phase" they are recommended in limited amounts during the "Stabilization Phase" and increased gradually for "Life Time Maintenance" as whole grains are healthy.
No Legumes
Their carbohydrates are too high for the Supercharged Fat Burning Phase. Legumes include dried beans, and peas. They are healthy for you and will be added back gradually. Although legumes are not permitted in the "Fat Burning Phase" they are recommended in limited amounts during the "Stabilization Phase" and increased gradually for "Lifetime Maintenance."
Benefits of Water Drink 1 ounce of water for every pound you weigh, says Philip Goglia, Nutritionist and author of Turn up the Heat. If you weigh 160 lbs. you should drink 160 fluid ounces of water or twenty 8 fluid ounces of water or ten of the 16 fluid ounce water bottles.
Proper hydration helps the body eliminate toxin which can help shed unwanted fat.
Anything added to water actually slows absorption.
Water passes easily through the semi-‐permeable membranes of the intestine, but other particles may not.
Water enables nutrients to get to cells.
o For example, a minimum of 3.8 grams of water is needed to utilize 1 gram of carbohydrate. If you are insulin resistant, that number can potentially double.
Water is essential for maintaining proper blood viscosity (density and balance of nutrients) within the vascular system.
Sufficient hydration creates the proper balance of bile salts to extract toxins in the form of waste products from the body.
o Water helps to ensure a good electrolyte balance. Muscular strength and coordination are directly related to proper hydration; just try running or playing any sport without drinking water beforehand. You will discover that your body will not respond as efficiently or with as much coordination as it does when hydrated.
Metabolic efficiency is governed by three internal thermostats:
1. The hydration thermostat, which uses water to create a constant temperature pattern internally. 2. The metabolic thermostat, which uses calories as heat energy units. 3. The insulator thermostat, which stores fat below the skin.
Water, The Hydration Thermostat As stated by Nutritionist Philip Goglia, in his book "Turn up the Heat", most people don't really understand the importance of proper hydration. Since our bodies are composed of 70 percent water, this all-‐important nutrient is critical for everyday functioning. Water serves a number of purposes: Water controls body temperature. Acting as a thermostat, water allows the body to regulate temperature through perspiration and sweat as the body relates to the environment. With proper hydration, the body maintains a temperature that allows for optimum performance and the regulation of fat and carbohydrate use. Lack of water will cause the body to regulate its temperature in an alternative way by hoarding fat, using its insulatory thermostat. This is just one of the many ways the body uses adaptation to ensure survival. If your body temperature is low, Supercharged hCG will not pull out as much fat. Remember, though, the more your body has to adapt to survive, the less it can focus on performance, energy and physique. Ideally, the amount of water necessary for proper hydration is one ounce of water per one pound of body weight. This may seem like a lot of water, but you will be surprised at how easy it is to adjust to this amount. If you begin your day with a few glasses, have a few with every meal, and carry a bottle of water with you, staying properly hydrated will become an easy part of your routine. You will notice that your body feels better when you drink enough water and that you actually experience mild discomfort or thirst when you are under hydrated. There is a lot of controversy among medical practitioners about correct water intake. For years, the standard advice given by doctors has been to drink eight 8-‐ounce glasses of water per day. However, when you look at how widely people vary in size and weight, it makes no logical sense to conclude that every single person has the same daily water requirement and should drink the same amount of water every day! Keep in mind that the coffee, tea, and diet soda that you drink-‐which contain caffeine, tannins, and other chemicals that the body must process-‐are not the same as pure water and should not be included as part of your total water intake, and may at times, because of caffeine content produces an adverse diuretic effect, which makes you dehydrated.

The Insulatory Thermostat Water acts as a heat regulator to control your core body temperature, helping you to maintain the proper internal temperature for supercharged functioning. If you don't drink enough water your body will automatically adapt the survival strategy of storing fat subcutaneously to act as insulation in order to maintain a constant core temperature. Even if your food program is completely on target, if your water intake is low, you will still hoard fat. On the other hand, when you finish with the Supercharged Fat Burner program, if you are drinking the correct amount of water daily, and cheat a bit on foods, you will not hoard fat. That clearly shows the sensitivity of this third metabolic thermostat. The insulator thermostat is a survival mechanism that is used when your body experiences trauma and needs to adapt in order to survive. Supercharged hCG resets the hypothalamus to burn fat for energy. Proper hydration helps the hypothalamus to continue to burn fat for energy long after you have finished the program to help you keep your weight off. The metabolic thermostat controls caloric heat patterns. To see how it works, you need to understand three things:
1. Metabolism is a function of heat.

Exercise—Walk away from FAT! We recommend walking and light toning while taking Supercharged hCG and following The Supercharged Fat Burning System. Weight Stabilization Phase Purpose:

Important to eat breakfast now. You can have any meat choices; higher fat fish, beef and pork. You can eat avocados, nuts and good fats as well as butter and cheese. Carbohydrates are by far the most dangerous during this phase, making weight gain more volatile.
Beware!
Weigh yourself every day in this phase! Fat will now go back on evenly distributed instead of going to one spot. You must, without fail, weigh every morning as you get out of bed, after having emptied your bladder (without clothes) before eating breakfast or drinking liquids of any kind. You must have your own portable bathroom scale always at hand, particularly while traveling. It takes about three weeks before the weight reached at the end of the treatment becomes stable. To be stable you do not show violent fluctuations after an occasional excess.
Weight gain during stabilization As long as your weight stays within 2 lbs. of weight reached on the day of the last Supercharged hCG
does, you should take no notice of any increase. If you go over the 2-‐pound allowance: That very morning:
Have no breakfast or lunch, just water until dinner. Have a big steak and an apple only for dinner. You should drop those pounds right off the next morning. According to Dr. Simeon, It isn't as effective if not done the morning you go over 2 lbs.
Most clients hardly ever need to skip a meal. If they have eaten a heavy lunch, they feel no desire to eat their dinner, and in this case no increase takes place. If they keep their weight at the point reached at the end of the treatment, even a heavy dinner does not bring about an increase of two pounds the next morning, and does not therefore call for any special measures. Most patients are surprised how small their appetite has become and yet how much they can eat without gaining weight. They no longer suffer from an abnormal appetite and feel satisfied with much less food than before. In fact, they are usually disappointed that they can't manage their first normal meal, which they have been planning for weeks.

Exercise You can add strength training if you choose, because you are able to eat more protein to compensate for it. It's always good to keep up the exercise routine. Often because we have unburdened ourselves with the extra weight we were carrying around, we naturally become more active because it is easier. Exercise for all the wonderful benefits it offers you. No high heart rate exercises still, because they cause you to burn the limited carbohydrate supply from your muscle which then creates the need and craving to replace them and the volatility of blood sugar. Caution about losing more weight According to Dr. Simeon, You should never gain more than two lbs. without immediately correcting the increase and you should not lose more than two pounds either because the loss will be at the expense of normal fat. Any normal fat that is lost is invariably regained as soon as more food is taken in, and it usually results in more than two pounds. Beware of over-‐enthusiasm After treatment has ended, a problem can be encountered with patients who are skeptical that they can resume eating normally. If you continue, more or less, on the low calorie diet, adding only a few things to the diet, you will gain weight. Follow the rules listed above and this will not happen. Relapses 60 to 70 percent of Dr. Simeon's cases experienced little or no difficulty in holding their weight permanently. When relapse occurred it was usually due to negligence in the basic rule of daily weighing. While in the Stabilization Phase, many patients think weighing daily is unnecessary and that they can judge an increase from the fit of their clothes. Some do not carry their scale with them while traveling; it is cumbersome and takes a big bite out of their luggage allowance when flying. Not weighing every day is a disastrous mistake during the Stabilization phase! After a course of Supercharged hCG as much as 10 lbs. can be regained without any noticeable change in the fit of their clothes. According to Dr. Simeon, the reason for this is that after the program newly acquired fat is first evenly distributed and does not show the former preference for certain body parts. Pregnancy and Menopause Pregnancy or menopause may annul the effect of a previous treatment. Women who take treatment during one year after the last menstruation that is at the onset of the menopause do just as well as other, but among them the relapse rate is higher until the menopause is fully established. The period of one year after the first menstruation applies only to women who are not being treated with ovarian hormones. If these are taken, the pre-‐menopausal period may be indefinitely prolonged. Repeating Sessions If you experience weight gain, doing another session is completely acceptable. Repeat sessions are often even more satisfactory than the first treatment and have the advantage that you already know that you will feel comfortable throughout the treatment.
Nutritional Supplementation Education for All Phases Whole Food Vitamins You should not take any synthetic fat soluble vitamins (A. D, E and K) while on the Supercharged Fat Burning Phase and taking Supercharged hCG. You will be releasing stored fat soluble vitamins as your body releases stored fat. Taking Body Assessments Many people dread taking their body assessments, but knowing your current condition will make achieving your end result even more gratifying. Additionally, these assessments will help you establish your end goal and help you track your progress as you go through each phase of the program. Take “Before” Photographs If you can, take a photo before you begin the Supercharged Fat Burning System. Follow this procedure:
Wear a shirt and pants that are form fitting. This will allow you to better see the current shape of your body. Stand with your hands at your side and your feet evenly spaced apart.
Pictures should be taken of your front, side and back. Determine Your Weight Weigh at the same time every day, preferably first thing in the morning. Determine Your Body Mass Index Your Body Mass Index (BMI) is an objective scientific measure that uses your height and weight. You can calculate your BMI by dividing your weight in lbs. by the square of your height in inches, multiplied by 703. In other words the algebraic expression for BMI is: BMI = (Weight in lbs. = Height in inches) x 703 You can also use A BMI calculator on the web. Try the following url: http:I/www.consumer.govIweightloss/bmi.htm Although you find your BMI with the algebraic expression, a simpler method is to find your corresponding measurements on the chart below. Note: one variable BM1 fails to consider is lean body mass. It Is possible for a healthy, muscular individual with very low body fat to be classified obese using the BMI formula. If you are a trained athlete, your weight based on your measured percent body fat would be a better indicator of what you should weigh.
If your BMI is below 18.5 (underweight) This indicates a lean BMI, which means you have a low amount of body fat. If you are an athlete, this can be desirable. If you are not an athlete, a lean BMI can indicate that your weight is too low which may mean you have a lower immunity. If your BMI and body weight are low, you should consider gaining weight through good diet and exercise habits to increase your muscle mass.
If your BMI is between 18.5 and 24.9 (healthy weight) This indicates the ideal, healthy amount of body fat, which is associated with living longest, and the lowest incidence of serious illness. Coincidentally, it seems this ratio is what many individuals perceive to be the most aesthetically attractive. If your BMI is between 25 and 29 (hefty) This is still considered an acceptable range, and is associated with good health. If your BMI is between 30 and 39.9 (obese) You are considered "obese" and should find ways to lower your weight, through diet and exercise. You are at increased risk for a variety of illnesses at your present weight. You should lose weight by changing your diet and exercising more. If your BMI is over 40 (morbidly obese) This indicates an unhealthy condition. Your excess fat is putting you at risk for heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, gall bladder disease and some cancers. You should lose weight by changing your diet and exercising more. The BMI is a valid measurement of weight in relation to health. It is not recommended for use as the sole measurement of either body composition or level of fitness. Although the BMI is useful guidelines for healthy adults (ages 20 to 65 years), it does not apply to infants, children, adolescents, pregnant or breastfeeding women and adults over 65 years.
Troubleshooting Guide What if I forget to take Supercharged hCG? If you forget to take a dose of your Supercharged hCG, make it up by taking it when you remember that you missed it. Food challenges Craving Sugar
1. Add more protein to each meal for a couple of days. This will eliminate carbohydrate cravings. 2. You can use an unsweetened package of kool-‐aid and reconstitute it and use one of the
healthier sweeteners listed (or otherwise on occasion). To a water bottle you can add crystal light (on occasion because it uses synthetic sweeteners and I am not a fan).
3. Buy Flavored Stevia Drops by SweetLeaf from your doctor if they carry it or a Health Food Store. They have many flavors to choose from; Apricot, Lemon Drop, Grape, Root Beer, Raspberry Chocolate, Chocolate, Cinnamon, Peppermint and more. A 2 oz. bottle will sweeten eighty 16 oz. water bottles.
4. Buy FUSE "Slenderized" drinks that are non-‐carbonated but contain Splenda. If used on occasion, it should be fine.
* We don't recommend carbonated sugar free drinks. Carbonation is the leading cause of osteoporosis and has a lot of undesirable effects. (pg. 33) Don’t Like Raw Vegetables You will have more difficulty with constipation if you eat mostly cooked veggies. Cooking kills their enzymes which make their processing and assimilation easier. Don’t Like Vegetables This diet is hard for people who don't like vegetables; often a result of not eating many before. We have found that many develop a taste and liking for them while on the program. Enjoying vegetables is an acquired taste. If you never eat them you will not acquire a taste. They are loaded with enzymes, vitamins, fiber etc. Learn to like them or your diet will be boring eating the few that you are accustomed to eating. What can I do to make those vegetables taste better? You can use all kinds of seasonings, as well as a small amount of fat free extremely low sugar salad dressings. Many people really like squeezed limes, lemons or lemon pepper over their veggies. On a salad you can also blend the tomato to make it saucy and pour over your salad. A list has been generated with many product names so that you can go buy those that we know of which are acceptable on the program.
Don’t Like Fruit Fruit is necessary for moving the bowels. The carbohydrates in the fruit are for your brain and digestive flora. Just like vegetables; they are an acquired taste. Some have allergies and that is often diminished with the use of plant enzymes. Don’t Like Meat Some people are vegetarians because of health principles and others are just because they don't like meat. For those who just don't like meat, they usually are in serious nutritional deficiency as their method of being Vegetarian is to just avoid meat without finding out how to get adequate protein. Most often with these individuals, they just need some really good recipes to make the meat taste good, tender and moist, not dried out. Often their meat is too dry for them or not cooked enough or tasteless. We are sharing recipes and would love to share some with you. For those who are vegetarian for the health principles, you can use vegetarian protein, but it is not as thermogenic as animal protein. The vegetarians who eat fish have amazing success. If you can look at this program as a way to get healthier by lowering your body fat and cholesterol then it may be worth you switching just during the program. Can I eat out? Absolutely! Request 4-‐5 oz. of grilled chicken, turkey (breast meat only) or fish or other sea food. Ask them not to put on any butter or oils on your meat or vegetables. Have steamed or stir-‐fried vegetables or a salad. For a salad, get as many vegetables in your salad and the dressing on the side. Ask them what all comes on the salad so you can identify any fat things like cheeses and bacon and fried tortilla chips. Ask to not have them on yours. Restaurants want to please you and even if it isn't on the menu, they will generally be able to grill some meat for you and serve you some grilled or fresh vegetables. Bring an apple along so you can have after, if you like. Hungry Between Lunch and Dinner If you literally don't feel like you can make it until dinner, have an extra mini meal of some protein and vegetables. Do this only when you feel very hungry. It won't slow down your metabolism. It actually will help your metabolism if you are truly hungry. This is the only time you can add in extra food; Other than you can have more protein and veggies at lunch and dinner instead of the between meal mini meal if that works better for you. Hungry Before Lunch This is more significant during those first few days when you drop down to the low calorie diet. But you may have hunger sensations more frequently before lunch. Since you are asked to drink so much water, this is the perfect time to do it. Remember that hCG doesn't mobilize fat unless it senses hunger. We accomplish that by fasting from food from dinner until lunch the next day. You can also take 2 Hyper Hoodia (a natural appetite suppressant during this time. Call our office if you need to purchase some.)
Hungry Before Bedtime This is a time that is hard to drink a lot of liquid, as you will be up often in the night if you do. So, the best way is to take Hoodia, as it is natural and not a stimulant, if you are going to be up long. Sometimes having a very low glycemic drink helps. Distraction is helpful too. Busy yourself so you don't think about it. For many they aren't feeling hungry, it's munchy. You could munch on celery for the crunch and no calories. Bowel movements Constipation
1. Are you drinking your water? 2. Are you eating your vegetables raw? Cooked veggies slow down digestion. If you are eating
more cooked than raw vegetables then you need to eat more raw vegetables. 3. Are you exercising?
If you are doing all these things, you should know that your bowel movements will be 1/3 of what they were before. If you went 3 times per day, you will go 1 time. If you went one time you will go once per 3 days. All is normal. There is good reason for this and reason not to worry if it is 1/3 less. You are using up most of what you take in. You are not eating grain that bulks the bowel and make your bowels move more often. You are not eating junk food that would be good reason for constipation. When you are eating good wholesome food and using it up for energy, it should be fine. If you are bothered, don’t take a grain-‐based laxative during this program, as they can cause bloating. Use things like: 1. Buy flax seeds. Grind them, stir into a glass of water or take on a spoon and chase down with a glass or two of water. Flax seeds are great as you will get the good Omega 3 fatty acid your body needs and helps metabolism etc... 2. Drink warm water in the morning, as it stimulates bowels. 3. Eat ½ of a very ripe pear before your meal. 4. Buy Benefiber, Acadia fiber, or Citrucel. Diarrhea This is unusual for the program. If it goes on more than 2 days take an over-‐the-‐counter anti-‐diarrhea product any pharmacist can direct you to the best. Diarrhea can be a symptom of detoxifying but not good for too long as you lose nutrients and create electrolyte imbalances.
Weight Challenges A jump in weight without any changes to the diet For women, once a month before her period she will jump up 2 or more pounds overnight. It's abrupt. It is just hormonal. Water is held on to and causes this jump. It will go away in a few days so don't panic as it will take a few extra with it. If your psyche won't let you be calm about this then don't weigh every day during this time. Just mark the calendar and plan your next round around your cycle. If this happens during the "Stabilization Phase" you can do the steak and apple day and it will drop right off. You just have to be patient while on hCG when this happens and not panic. Eat an extra mini meal between lunch and dinner. Have extra animal protein or try a low carb. Whey protein smoothie. This will fire up the metabolism. Simeon's apples only day isn't adequate for health. We are not trying to lose water, we are trying to burn fat. If you are doing everything right and your weight is stuck, don't worry it will come off when it is ready. Be sure you are measuring as you are losing inches even when the scale weight doesn't show a loss. Scale weight is not the most accurate account of what is happening. It is a measure of fluids as well and we have daily fluctuations. Your tape measure is a more accurate measurement of progress. Gained more than 2 pounds in Weight Stabilization? Follow the guidelines on page 31. Weight loss less than 10 pounds in the first 20 days Have the doctor do a full Thyroid panel blood test; TSH, T3 and T4. Everyone that lost less than ten pounds had a low thyroid function. Follow your doctor’s recommendations. Low Energy Low energy may come from time to time. 1. Check your blood pressure. This is especially necessary when taking medication to lower blood pressure. Blood pressure lowers all on its own when on the Supercharged Fat Burning System. It's due to the diet, the hCG, and the supplements all working together. When blood pressure is below 120/80 you can feel tired. You can feel light headed when going from a laying or seated position to a standing. For this reason you can add more salt to your diet. Salt helps increase your blood pressure in a healthy way. It's not a health risk to have low blood pressure and is healthier than high blood pressure, it's just the fatigue factor that can be annoying. The time it is a health concern is when you are taking medication to lower your blood pressure. While on this program your blood pressure can drop really fast. In this situation, you will feel extremely fatigued. You may need to go off your blood pressure medication so contact your doctor.
2. Ironically, exercise increases energy. Just when you think you can't because you are too tired, you may find that after you do, your energy will soar.
Lightheaded Take a potassium supplement. (ref. pg. 11 Potassium). This also goes along with the information above in Low Energy. Rash or Flushing This could be due to the body detoxing. You can try Benadryl and or call your doctor to get his suggestion. Exercise (ref. p. 27) You can do light toning. You are not taking in enough protein to rebuild muscle after a strength training workout so only light toning will work. You can strength train during the Stabilization Phase and beyond. Questions On average how much weight do people lose the first time? On page 12, the answer is in the last question. How much weight from each round thereafter? As you get closer to your ideal, you will slow down to about ½ pound per day and sometimes less. If my body is doing well at melting all this away, what would happen if I kept taking the drops without stopping to go on the stabilization? Please read page 6. How do you tell how long is best for your body to go on the stabilization? Please read page 6, and then it’s just a decision you make of when you want to start. When not on the program, every time I eat the smallest treat is the weight going to jump right back on? No, because your hypothalamus has been reset to your new weight after you complete the Stabilization Phase. Supercharged hCG helped to make you a “fat burner” while on the Fat Burning Phase, and your metabolism has not been slowed down. If you eat treats on a regular basis you will not be able to maintain. You must eat treats in moderation.
