Ours are real wholegrain flours, obtained from stone milling and they are different from the ones obtained through the industrial roller mills. In our flours each nutritional principle is totally and naturally transferred from the original seed, which allows to obtain more balanced foods in terms of nutritional values (rich in fibers, minerals and anti-oxidant substances). Flavour and taste are clearly distinguishable when eating foods prepared with these ingredients.

Our pearled cereals stand out for their better quality from an accurate cleaning, calibration and optical selection process. They are MAP packed to extend their shelf life.

In our pasta we keep the best flavor and nutritive properties, thanks to bronze plates and low temperature drying processes. We produce spelt pasta made from 100% Triticum dicoccum wholegrain flour and a special one from a mixture of wholegrain spelt and broad beans flours. The second won the ANUGA 2011 award in Cologne, Germany, as best pasta innovative solution for tasting and nutritive properties. VEGAN OK certified it as suitable for vegans. Finally we produce pasta from GMO-free local durum wheat cultivars and it stands out for a full flavor and sauce-keeping trait.

All our pastas are certified by BRC and IFS, to provide guarantee for international standard requirements. They have been chosen by London 2012 Olympic Committee for athletes and staff, which proves our ability to merge flavour and wellness.

Recently we have introduced spelt&vegetables ready dishes. They result from an in-depth research to reach a long room-temperature shelf life without additives and preservatives. Today we can supply a ready-to-eat food with a unique handiness (microwave heating is an optional). Our nutritional analysis shows they have low calories content and low glycemic index. They are a suitable and healthy take-away alternative.

Our puffed cereals are the output of a physical process only carried out from our wholegrain seeds. We supply spelt, barley, millet and oats in single serving and family pack sizes for a healthy breakfast or snack.

Our biscuits are animal fats-free and they complete our breakfast food supply. They only consist of spelt wholegrain flour, extra-virgin olive oil and brown sugar. VEGAN OK certified them as suitable for vegans too.

A dynamic companyWe supply our products to the main Italian retail chains. Today we are ready to face international markets where we are already working with small importers and suppliers. Spot orders have been provided to important European retailer groups.Our attendance to several international food exhibitions and fairs, shows how we are ready and willing to grow thanks to the trust shown by new customers and to our ability to supply more and more innovative, healthy and functional foods and explain the main features of functional food solutions. We have always believed in social commitment and research support. We have established partnerships with BANCO ALIMENTARE (an Italian foundation for food waste recovery for charity) and FIEO (a European foundation for cancer research) because both of them are sensitive towards unlucky people, with the hope to let them feel less alone.Our Mission aims at supplying functional and usable foods through different pack size options and at developing a business network in those areas where customers pay more attention to healthy and local Italian high quality food.

About usThe Luzi family has been farming lands in the heart of Italy from generations to generations, specializing in local cereals and legumes production.

The brothers Gianluigi and Andrea Luzi, believe in old and bygone farming traditions. Through our job we wish to share our passion for a sustainable farming development, supporting both the environment and the human life. We strive to be environmentally-friendly and produce wholegrain foods rich in natural nutritional values.

We mainly grow Triticum dicoccum, the real Italian farro over 400 hectares located between the Province of Pesaro-Urbino and Ancona. We also work in partnership with other local producers who receive and sow our seeds and we personally check their farming from sowing to harvesting over 1500 hectares located in the heart of Italy. From our fields we crop high quality organic seeds, certified by IMC (Istituto Mediterraneo di Certificazione/Mediterranean Certification Institute)

Cereals and legumes are processed thanks to a new processing plan based in the village of San Lorenzo in Campo. They are stored in refrigerated silos avoiding chemical treatments. First of all we undertake a dehulling process in order to remove seedcoats. Seeds are milled at an innovative stone mill where water power has been replaced by another renewable power, the sun.
