WHAT IS THE CHIETA SUPPLY SIDE DATABASE?

The Supply Side Database is one of CHIETA’s flagship projects. It is a web-based initiative that contains a pool of qualified learners and graduates seeking work integrated learning and employment.

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THIS DATABASE?

The purpose of the Supply Side Database is to:

Create a platform for students and graduates to seek work and gain experience in jobs in the Chemical Sector appropriate to their qualifications and interests

Establish and maintain a database with relevant details of students and graduates seeking opportunities in the chemical sector AND to track and trace supply in the sector

Obtain information from employers in the Chemical Sector about their employment needs

WHO HAS ACCESS TO THE SUPPLY SIDE DATABASE?

CHIETA levy paying Employers

HOW TO ACCESS THE SUPPLY SIDE DATABASE?

Learners and Employers access the database from the CHIETA website under “LEARNERS SEEKING PLACEMENT”

Learners click on “Learner Registration” which will direct them to the mobile friendly registration page

o Learners to complete their information accuratelyo Agree to the terms and conditionso Then submit!

Employers click on “Employer Login” which will direct them to the mobile friendly login pageo Employers to use the same WSP-ATR login details to access the databaseo After agreeing to the terms and conditions they will be directed to the filter screen

where they may filter learner information according to their required needso The final step is to click the “Request” button which will send an email to the CHIETA

Administrator notifying the Administrator of the employer’s learner request o The Administrator will subsequently forward learner contact details to requesting

employer
