Introduction
The Supply Chain Professional Development (SCPD) Programme is an innovative e-learning
programme for logistics executives who wish to upgrade themselves or executives who wish to switch
to a career in logistics. It is believed to be one of the first e-learning programmes in logistics and
supply chain management to be offered to the industry in Vietnam.
The SCPD Programme have a learning methodology of online learning which is convenience and
efficiency. Online learning provides an alternative for companies to achieve their desired learning
outcomes at a relatively lower cost and minimise the loss of productivity from workers who have to
attend external training programmes.
Program Structure
The SCPD Programme is divided into two levels catering to working adults with different
backgrounds. Diploma in SCPD: (The first level comprises four basic modules)

Strategic management process (SWOT analysis, Porters’ Five Forces Model)

Course Duration
Each module takes 1 month to complete. During this period, course participants can post their queries
at the online forum for discussion with the module facilitator and the other course participants. The
online forum provides an opportunity for the module facilitator as well as the course participants to
interact with one another and share knowledge.
Total course duration:
- 04 months/ Diploma in SCPD
- 04 months/ Advanced Diploma in SCPD
Methods of Assessment:
At the end of the course, course participants have to sit for a written examination. The examination
session would be held at VIL.
Awards
Course participants who passed all the written examinations would be awarded Certificates by the
Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, Singapore.

Fees (*)
Diploma in SCPD: S$1,800
Advanced Diploma in SCPD: S$2,900
Account retainment fee: S$ 30 / month (for student who would like to prolong the study process)
Re-examination fee: S$ 50 /module
(*) All fee should be exchanged to VND, depend on the exchange rate of Bank at specific time.

Entry Requirements
Diploma in Supply Chain Professional Development:
Applicants should have at least an 'A' level certificate in English and two years of working
experience;
Applicants without an 'A' level certificate in English but have more years of working
experience would be considered on a case-by-case basis;
Applicants who have higher educational qualifications but do not have the minimum number of
years of working experience would be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Advanced Diploma in Supply Professional Development:
Applicants should have at least a Diploma with two years of working experience;
Applicants without a Diploma but have more years of working experience would be considered
on a case-by-case basis;
Applicants who have higher educational qualifications but do not have the minimum no of
years of working experience would be considered on a case-by-case basis.
