CourseDescription

Didactic

Hands-on

Dr.StevenL.RasnerRasnerInstitute.com/inhouse/800-337-8435

This course has been carefully designed to integrate didactic, audio and visual aids, and extensive hands-on attendee participation including a wide range of exodontia and related procedures.

The ultimate goal in any extraction is to leave the site prepared to receive an implant, even if an implant is not in the patient’s immediate plans. With that in mind, the day opens with discussion of techniques designed to leave the socket intact and repair it when necessary.Additional topics:• Safe patient selection• Oral sedation protocol• Red flags• Antibiotic coverage• A review of angiogenesis• Surgical implant introduction• Suturing 101: Interrupted, Continuous, Horizontal & Vertical Mattress:

Where – When – How• Case presentation and fees• Appropriate legal documentation

Upon registration, each doctor will be asked their goals for the course. We do our best to match those goals with the available case load.

We anesthetize and sedate the patients for you, so your time is spent performing procedures. Doctors will work in teams of two, taking turns as doctor and assistant. Dr. Rasner will review the case with you and then be available for guidance as needed.Cases that are seen at every course include teeth broken below the gingiva and teeth adjacent to delicate esthetics. All patients will be ASA 1 or 2, and all will be monitored during treatment. Patients come to us from the underserved community, and all treatment at the course is gratis.

Observer optionNew! We now offer a limited number of observation-only spots. You get the full lecture, plus the opportunity to observe numerous challenging procedures.
