Blue Ridge Class of 1959 enjoys outing

Fifteen members of the 1959 classat Blue Ridge High School,

along with eight spouses, gathered onJune 26 to enjoy reminiscing, visitingand eating at the home of Raleigh andShelby Inscore-Puckett in Ararat, Va.

An outdoor picnic with barbecue andfixings was enjoyed along with dessertsprepared by Shelby, Lucille and Carol.A near perfect summer evening addedto the enjoyment of the celebration.

Memories of shared experiencesmingled with conversations about cur-rent activities and family updates.Many of the classmates related storiesof extensive and varied travels. And, ofcourse, proud grandparents told of theaccomplishments of grandchildrenbeginning families and careers.

A delicious country breakfast wasserved on Sunday morning. Raleigh

Pucker, the best cook in Ararat, pre-pared country ham, sausage, bacon,gravy, fried apples, eggs and Poonabread for everyone to enjoy.
