This shows that they read magazines quite frequently but not too often where they are reading a magazine every week. From this we can gather that reading magazines may not be their first priority and may only read one if it grabs their attention.

Page 1: Survey results

Here we can see that most of the Target Audience read magazines once or twice a month. This shows that they read magazines quite frequently but not too often where they are reading a magazine every week. From this we can gather that reading magazines may not be their first priority and may only read one if it grabs their attention.

Most of the target audience pay between £2 and £3 for a magazine. This shows that they prefer not to pay too much for a magazine as they are only young and cant afford to buy more expensive ones. This paired with the fact that they only buy magazines once or twice a months shows that they don’t want to pay too much too frequently.

From this we can gather that the Target Audience love listening to music as they listen to it for more than five hours a week. This is good as it means that they will be more likely to by a music magazine – which is what my magazine is.

This shows that YouTube is a popular platform that the Target Audience like to use. This may also reflect the fact that they use Social Media a lot. A lot of people this age are just discovering Social Media for the first time and so will be using it a lot.

From here we can see that the Target Audience spend a lot of time on the internet. This could be potentially why they don’t by magazines as much because they are getting their information from the internet and may be reading articles on there. They may, also, be getting information from social media which could mean that what they are reading is inaccurate.

There is quite a mix in the amount of time the target audience spends watching TV Shows, however, the majority of them spend more than five hours watching TV Shows. This could be another reason why they don’t read as many magazines – because they are watching TV Shows instead.

From this we can see that the majority of the Target Audience do not play on game consoles. This shows that they are perhaps not interested in playing games and instead they watch TV shows or spend time on the internet as shown in the results for other questions.

Here we can see that most of the target audience only read between one and two hours a week. Again, the time that they would spend reading they are probably watching TV shows or on the internet.

Here we can see that the vast majority of the Target Audience are females. My magazine will be designed to target females.

The majority of the Target Audience are 13-years-old. My magazine will be designed to target 13-year-olds.
