How has the use of ICT within your role evolved in 2008?

• SMS – Allowing you to have quick access to student information from personal background to assessment.

• Confidence is increasing as ICT is a necessity now.

• Everyone learning together

• Able to access information worldwide not just your immediate community.

What areas of ICT would you like to further explore

for your own professional development?

• SMS – use it to it’s potential

• Analysis of data

• Information• A few comments of the feeling that they

have to rely on other staff as they don’t know enough.

In what ways do you provide support for the

provision of ICT within the school?

• Support for the lead teacher

• Release time for lead teachers to work with staff.

• ICT goals for teachers

Inquiry was chosen as a focus in the cluster for 07/08. Describe where the school is at in relation to the

development of Inquiry particularly in relation to ICT?

• Some schools are in the development stage of inquiry learning or are re vamping what is already in their schools.

• A few schools are well on the way and have integrated it well with ICT.

In what ways has the cluster programme over 2007 contributed to the development of an inquiry

teaching approach within the school?

• Visiting other schools was a big plus as able to come back to our schools with some ideas.

• Discussions within our own cluster.
