What I love about SMS Band…...All the new people you meet from band helps you grow more in touch with people who have the same interests as you. One of my best friends I met in band and to this day we still laugh a lot!

Katie when you join drumline people automatically begin to bow at your feet because we are the best part of marching band.

Nathaniel It's like one big family. We're all friends and have a great time together, and we all work hard and support each other. We also like to goof around a lot. The teachers are great, Mr. Gaesser and Ms. Iverson are both very patient (especially with freshmen).

Beth it's like a big family. you make friends very easily and everyone feels included and welcomed :)

Myles Marching Band is in all honesty one of my favorite classes. Music at Folsom High is amazing and you'll love it if you choose to join. It is hard work, but its more that worthwhile and will help you prepare for a future in music and in life.

Carmel Don’t freak out about making friends right away! Band is a great community and it’s like having a whole bunch of friends :) It’s so fun to do the band trips and it feels sort of freeing because in middle school you don’t get to do the same sort of fun things as in high school. The dynamic between mr gaesser and ms iverson makes everyday entertaining, too.

Scott Band is amazing, there's such a wonderful, warm, welcoming community here. You'd be missing out if marching band isn't a part of your high school experience! :)

Cole You can meet some nice people in this class and are in for good exercise. It isn't a sport, but it's a good way to get outside.

NatalieMr. Gaesser and Mrs. Iverson are super great teachers. They always give us challenging music. Marching band is super fun, make sure you have sunscreen though because otherwise you will be a burnt potato. You make great friends and get to hang out with them a lot. I am so glad that I continued music into high school!

Andrew Mr. Gaesser is super considerate and accepting, and Ms. Iverson is the nicest teacher I've had to date.

JuyeopBand is a fun and interesting class. The teachers are very kind and funny.
