This was the first design assignment since I came to urban planning. Had not been equipped

with any skills, all I concerned about was how to make a perfect city with good traffic

condition, fine view and an orderly urban pattern. This was all I had in mind what a good city

should be.

Thus, I did some research of the urban patterns, finding out there were several types such as

grids, circles and wedge-shaped. I chose the circle pattern as my foundation because under
