The Winner…

“always provides extremely detailed feedback for all assessments which is very helpful for us, the students. In the feedback (which is many pages long) [they] always provide references to similar examples in the textbooks or lecture slides and … always explain everything in a lot of detail to ensure that it is clear by everyone. [They are] also the first one to add feedback on whatever assessment. [Their] feedback is very punctual and helpful, which indicates how much time [they] spend in preparing it and how focused and passionate [they are]”

The Winner was:

“incredibly passionate about the subject, [and] createdpractical engaging sessions to inspire creative thinking…For me, this mode of tuition surpassed anything that I had previously experienced in education. It brought the subject alive and inspired people to the point where we dedicated so much of our free time to build on our knowledge and apply it to 'real world‘ situations. I got so much from this module and that is entirely down to [their] creative approach to the moduleand… incredibly positive and passionate engagement with all students”

“has done a fantastic job working hard as our rep for the duration of our postgraduate course. She has helped bring about change by always encouraging the cohort to provide regular feedback and passing it on to the relevant persons”

“always takes our concerns seriously and represents them to those running the course. Nothing is too big or too small for her to take on. She has a 'never give up' attitude and pushes hard to encourage us to give feedback”

“has always fought hard for things that might not seemimportant to the university, but that matter to us”
