Mary Arduini will celebrate her 90th birth-day Feb. 28, 2015.

Mary was born in 1925, to Joseph and Grace Foley in Harmon, and was raised on the fam-ily farm until she was 13 years old. She moved to Sterling at 13 to complete high school and business college.

Mary and James Arduini were married in 1946, living in Rock Falls, raising nine chil-dren, James (Sandra), Thomas (Teri), Janet, Robert (Maria), Stephen (Kris), Kevin (Mary Beth), JoAnne (Kenny), Karen (Joseph), and Sunday.

Mary retired from the Whiteside County State’s Attorney’s office. She best loves spend-ing time with family, which now includes 20 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
